Says "guaranteed tough" - but oh no no

Purchased Jan 2022 for $170, now $220!! Mine was used in the kitchen mainly and moved sometimes to garage or around the house. Never outside, never exposed to moisture/rain. Suddenly died. Repairs are of course as much as a new one - DO NOT BUY.

Worked Great Until ….

Like many others have mentioned, this DeWalt radio worked perfectly until the Power button stopped working. Radio was bought 3/22/23 and then in July 2025, it would not come on. My husband discovered that he could unplug and then plug back in to the outlet and it would work. However, this morning, 10/30/25, the radio will no longer come on. I was about to tell him to go buy another one, but after reading these reviews, I’m not so sure about that. He has many DeWalt power tools that he uses, but ...

Best Bluetooth radio

The sound is great!

Like the fact that its Bluetooth and Am/Fm radio, also like that its 120v or 20v battery operated

Compact great sound and it picks up radio stations well So if you don’t want to Bluetooth your still good

I bought this 6 months ago and use it every day has good sound and goes as loud as I need to hear on a job

Good Radio for 2+ years but quit

I have alot of DeWalt 20v tools & love all of them so I added this radio in Nov 2022. Worked great until today 7/19/25. Came on by itself while plugged into 12V house outlet. I tried it off but couldn't so I unplugged it, later I plugged it back in & won't power up. I ven tried the battery , no luck,, OUT of Warranty. I should have read the other reviews first. If I had, I wouldn't have spent so much on a radio for 2 yrs.

Good, but power button?

This radio performed well for a couple of years. I use it mostly for radio, not much else. I don't mind the lack of remote, but I get that complaint. This weekend the power button just stopped working. Kind of a funky thing - wouldn't turn off even if I pushed it...so I took out the battery, and when I reinserted it turned back on without the button (surprised). Then an hour later without any pushing of the button, it turned off and never turned back on. Tried it with different batteries...nothi...

Had this radio for years. It just keeps playing my favorites on and on. Hardly touches the battery for drain when on that. So convenient to be able to also plug it in. Connects to all bluetooth devices effortlessly. Good Sound Quality with volume controlled by the radio as well as my phone.

Worked okay for a while

Weak sound but okay for garage and jobsite use. Unfortunately, the power button stopped working shortly after the warranty expired. Ended up in the trash can.
