Great tool bad at clearing out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this tool a while now and I have found it is accurate with the depth settings and it has enough power for the 2mm depth which a lot of battery planets don’t. The only issue I have had with mine is that it doesn’t clear out the shavings very well and you have to constantly be clearing it manually. Other editors than that I highly recommend this tool

Bag and Blades

See a lot of comments on lack of order numbers for dust bag and blades. Found a parts breakdown under service. Bag Part Number is N455893, it attaches to a deflector Part Number is N45589. The blades are Part Number N447366

No dust sock?

$179.00 and not even a rudimentary dust sock included? I have to purchase one for over $50.00 I really don't care how good the tool may or may not work, It's simply not a good deal if it can't be used until I purchase more overpriced items to use it.

Battery dies in 15 minutes, 1.5 hrs to charge.

Planing a 20” tree slab at 1/32” cut depth. Battery (2 amp hr) lasted no more then 15 minutes. It takes 1.5 hrs to charge it. Planer may be ok for small quick jobs but not for serious jobs.

Amazing!

Have used this more times then I can count on a remodel project. Just when you find yourself in a bind the planet can get that bow out of the board.

Smooth Cuts

Great planar, use it with a 5 amp batter as a 2 amp won't last long.

Awesome planer, accurate and no cord!

Started using this last week, so far I love it. Does the job as it is supposed to. Nice not having a cord! The fence attachment is just ok. Good ergonomically designed handle.

AWESOME TOOL 10 STARS!!!

My wife is in a power chair, cannot walk. I needed to build a transition ramp from the front door 4" step up into the entry of our home. Using the ChoiceDeck decking boards and 2" x 4" x 48" also from ChoiceDeck I was able to make rough cuts for a 48" diagonal creating two supports under the decking. Making 5 of these for the 72" double door wide entry I was able to make final clean cuts by using this planer. At the lead edge of the ramp to avoid a 3/4" "bump" onto the ramp I planed one of the 7...

I bought this planer about 6 months ago and have loved it! I find myself using it more than I had anticipated, this thing will CUT! Have been remodeling a house and have been shaving doors for new floors and was blown away by how well it preformed!
