Great drill

Can’t beat the power in the dewalt! Great power long battery life!

Great great drill

This drill definitely has a lot of power and has handled every project I have thrown at it so far. Haven’t tried the true hammer function yet though. The light on the bottom that shines where you are drilling is also very helpful. I will probably have and be able to use this 1 drill for the rest of my life.

Bought this to upgrade from a 12 volt. For obvious reasons this drill is way better, would definitely recommend this drill!

what is the defrense of 18v and 20v max in 996p2 ?

works as advertised

Used only once so far. Has a lot of torque and run time. Be careful using the trigger to spin the chuck while holding the chuck to tighten. You can get a "chuck burn".

Best yet

This is not my first DeWalt, but it is the first brushless. I absolutely love it. I cannot believe the power it has.

Awesome.

This is a very good hammer drill/driver. I owned a Dewalt 14.4 V hammer drill, and for 15-20 years, served me well. It finally died, and this is its’ replacement. Needless to say, I over researched, and decided on this replacement. I have not been disappointed so far, and I don’t expected to be. Seems to be well built and engineered. Will report more later.
