Good powerful drill

The product works well, the only downside is that I got two 4ah batteries instead of 5ah batteries

Nice drill some minor issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this drill a few months ago to use as a more robust drill than my everyday one. I like the power but the Chuck loosens on easy jobs but stays tight when working with masonry or other material where the hammer action is needed. Works great with larger bits but the smaller ones 1/4" and below don't seat well in the Chuck and work loose quickly. Overall nice drill and will more than take on larger sized tasks but for smaller ones cons...

Amazing Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for Christmas last year. A couple months ago I needed to anchor a railing for some steps at a customers house. Instead of getting my corded bulky hammer drill from my shop I decided to give this one a try. It did not disappoint, it drilled through the concrete with eases and the battery lasted for the entire job. I highly recommend this to anyone who finds them selves needing a hammer drill for those medium to light duty jobs

Ratcheting chuck is awesome. And the 5.0ah batteries are always charged when I need them to be. Great tool.

Excellent Driver!

I bought the 20V MAX* Cordless Brushless XR® 3-Speed Hammerdrill/Driver Kit 6 months ago. I use it constantly. I bought it to use when I started doing home repairs around our new house. I bought the Dewalt because I heard from many people that it is a good brand. We didn't have a lot of money to spend but needed something that was going to last through a lot of tough jobs. Drill

Can't go wrong with Dewalt products. Purchased the drill to mix mortar n grout but also used it to drive screws in cement backer board. Battery lasted few hours but switched it out ncontinued to march. Extremely happy with this drill other then a week later a rival store had it for $30 less

Worth The Money

I am a DIY’r and self employed handyman. I may not need the best quality tool that DeWALT puts out but I always spring for their top of the line. Simply put, DeWALT brushless is the top tier.

Bad design

Wobbling chuck. Forward and reverse switch is very loose feels like it came from a different model but it does have a lot of torque where is the precision. Had to return it very sad.

Great durability

While I’m in my apprenticeship I found it time to buy my own tools. I went with the DeWalt because of its reliability, durability, and all around power. Replacement with Power!

I gave the batteries an overnight charge to try them the next day. WOW! I was pleasantly surprised to find that I made the right call. XR 20V Max Hammer Drill

Great power, feels good in hand, two 5 ah batteries a big plus, and the carry case is nice to have. Drawback is the price for a drill.
