Not big and bulky and gets the job done. Same size as a regular drill but heavy and feels solid. Great for installing tapcons and similar screws

Very well made

Disappointed

Very low use, used it to set a few tapcons and been stuck in hammer mode ever since. Can adjust to whatever setting you desire but hammer still engaged.

Poor quality

I was surprised that the poor quality of craftsmanship for a Dewalt tool. The direction selector switch is so flimsy it feels like it's about to pop out at any moment. The three selection selector switch for power is flimsy and you have to tap the trigger a few times to get it to a slide into the next speed. The whole thing feels like absolute trash. I have a 10-year-old Chicago Electric that feels like it's 10 times the quality and I paid a quarter of the price. Pass on this model till they mak...

HAMMER DRILL

Have used it once and it quits after 10 seconds or less of use. Let off the trigger and then restarts. It just doesn't do the job. Want to exchange it for a hammer drill that works.

Dewalt hammer drill

I bought this hammer drill about a year age. And it is my workhorse around my home. I do believe though, that I've met its match. About a year ago we were burnt out of our home. Our contrac(Paul Davis Restoration), quit on us. So I've had to do alot of things myself(at 69 yo). They have spent more than $250,000 on our 1800sf home and supposedly ran out of money. And refused to work our basement back to its 70% finished level!

Good power for the price

I’ve gotten it wet, dropped it off of roofs, gone through concrete countless times and always works.

Not very helpful with concrete

I bought this hammer drill to drill anchor holes for screws in concrete. It wouldn’t drill in more than a half an inch I took it back. I doubt it’s better than a plain drill.

Works fine

Drill is fine but very disappointed that the battery is not included. The product description should say it more clearly. The battery and charger is more expensive than the drill itself.

Solid tool - powerful for its size

Originally bought this as a second drill as some projects it is easier they have two drills, depending upon the application. It’s now become my main drill. It’s lightweight and yet powerful. Would highly recommend this.
