What Customers Are Saying
The product offers good power, smoothness, and a compact design. Customers highlight the all-metal chuck as a durable and long-lasting feature. However, some users have experienced quality control issues with the direction selector switch and speed selector being unreliable, and a few had the drill stop working after minimal use. Overall, the product delivers excellent performance and value for most customers, but the quality concerns raised by some are a significant drawback.

Great Tool from DeWalt DCD805B
Would RecommendThis is a great tool from DeWalt, The DCD805B is well built, It has an all metal chuck. It is less likely to be damaged or warn down over time. The chuck can be the first item to break down. My last DeWalt drill had the plastic chuck which did just that. This one is the replacement, and I like it a lot. Thanks again to both DeWalt and Lowe's for offering this tool.

Great drill.
Lotsa torque. Nothing bad to say about. Thought the light was at a bad angle until I realized it’s adjustable.
