Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The product offers good power, smoothness, and a compact design. Customers highlight the all-metal chuck as a durable and long-lasting feature. However, some users have experienced quality control issues with the direction selector switch and speed selector being unreliable, and a few had the drill stop working after minimal use. Overall, the product delivers excellent performance and value for most customers, but the quality concerns raised by some are a significant drawback.

No problems at all.
I’ve been using this drill in rail industry no problem at all. Switched my personal drills to dewalt.

I love it!! Great construction

Exceptional Drill
Would RecommendJust what I needed. A high torque hammer drill that packs a punch. Just be aware that it does not come with a battery or battery charger. That’s not a problem for me because I already have a smaller Dewalt drill that came with battery and charger. The XR is a little heavier but I expected that.

Good for diy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my wife to do diy work in the house. It does the job but clearly is t the top of the Dewalt line. It was a good deal price wise though.
