Overall a soild drill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a very strong and reliable drill. Drill has been used for the past few weeks for simple cabniet hardware to drill 1/4" plate steel. Drill has alot of power. The flashlight feature on this model is very helpful when using in crawspaces.

Great drill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice compact drill. Light weight and plenty powerfull. Love the feature where the light can stay on longer then triggered time. Been using it with power stack battery and did not have any problems. Mainly been drilling 3/4 holes in metal/aluminum door frames. Only thing I have noticed compare to other drills is that this one is on a louder side. Nevertheless I am very happy with the drill and it will replace my current daily driver.

Great power in a compact drill

The half inch chuck size is ghe biggest I've seen in a cordless drill. I dont have many bits that are too big for a 3/8" chuck, but it's nice to know i can use them with this drill. Most of all, i really appreciate the compact size. I do a lot of electrical work, and this thing fits in between studs and in tight places almost as well...

Compact hammerdrill

Love the light that they put on here you can adjust the angle on the light and it 3 modes of operation for light off,on when pull trigger and on for 20 minutes. Although compact still packs a punch. Chuck seem to hold pretty good

High power low weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great power to weight ratio. The drill is very powerful is small and lightweight especially compared to my other hammer drills. For the few tapcons or anchors this is the perfect blend of power but when you just want a drill the bulkyness of other hammer drills does not play a part here.

Great for tight places.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DeWalt 20V MAX* XR Brushless Cordless 1/2 in. Hammer Drill/Driver is very powerful and works good for drilling in concrete, bricks and it fits in tighter places with it being shorter. Overall a great tool to have around.

Great upgrades to the XR line or drills.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hammer drill is much lighter and has a smaller footprint than my previous XR while still packing the same power if not more! The adjustable light makes it easy to work different size hole saws and get the light into places fixed light normally wouldn’t illuminate. The 20 minute work light feature makes it almost 2 tools in one since you don’t have to carry an extra work light with you.

What a great drill

Mainly use for drilling wood but with hammer drill makes it even more efficient not having to get out another drill. Usually pair with 5amp battery and tgus tging will drive screws all day. Best model made to date in my opinion

Compact but Powerful

Paired with a 5ah battery it feels very well balanced in my hand. The anti-kickback saves the wrist from twisting. Love the bright 70 lumens, adjustable, 3 setting light, really illuminates your work target area. As far as drilling, with a 4.5" hole saw it ate through 3/4 plywood with ese, no issues. Small drill with big power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using cordless drill/hammer drill combo on my recent jobs. It is more compact than my previous combo with just as much torque and hammer power. It has been very productive when drilling into brick and masonry in tight spaces. My favorite feature has to be the light that has the option of staying on for up to 20 minutes which makes for a perfect flashlight when installing hardware in low light conditions.

Great hammer drill but needs a beefier battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent drill. It does everything you would want in a portable hammer drill. There is no longer need to even keep my old non-hammer drill. My only negative comment about this drill is that it does require a stronger battery. The 20 V 1.5 amp hour batteries just don’t do the trick with this drill. I found I always needed at least 85 amp hour battery to get the most out of this tool.

Great Drill

I really like the light in the bottom, that you can adjust the angle, and leave the light on for awhile. It’s almost like having another flashlight on site. It’s also nice to have a drill handy with a chuck, gives more versatility for different drill bits. Overall, great drill!

New Go To Tool

We used it to hammer drill the box to put the pipe in . This drill hammers harder than my previous dewalt hammer drill and doesn’t eat the battery like my old one .
