Doesn’t cut square

Fixed downward cut is not square. From up to complete down it’s off by about 1/8 inch. No adjustment to correct it

Works great.

Great job cutting the aluminum products we had. It did create a little melt on the edged that was easily sanded by holding against the blade.

Comes with only an abrasive wheel.

Nice, portable unit. Wish it came with more cutting discs instead of the abrasive wheel only.

Chop saw great

I use it a lot and really lay into it, i have done everything from cutting used 2 3/8 pipe to build fences to cutting solid stock and square tubing for custom fabrication. It holds its own very durable with a strong motor. Only draw back is the debris direction shield does not work as well as I would like it to. There is alot of sparks flying over the top of shield and I tried to adjust but Still has a little bit going over it. All in all it’s a great tool

Won’t cut straight line

Will be returning within 24hrs of purchasing This Will not cut a straight line, would not cut a 45° angle on 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 angle iron, the blade flexes so bad that it walks all over the place, buy another saw!!!!

Just Bought

Bought this to make cuts in 1.5" bar stock. Squared the blade and it worked perfectly. I can already tell this will be one of my favorite tools for knife making.

DeWalt

This device is a working donkey, it performs the most difficult tasks, I cut a piece of solid steel with a thickness of 10 cm. Before this device, I had a device from a well-known company that did not last for several weeks and burned, and I also looked at a device from another well-known company, but not the quality of this product. It really is a device that deserves appreciation, and before this appreciation for the company that made such a device, it is a distinctive mark DeWalt

Great saw.

Second chop saw I have bought. This one was a gift for my son. Great product at fair price. He loves the the saw and uses it on his ranch.

Make sure you use a heavy extension cord.

Great product. Which the angles locked like a wood miter saw. Make sure you use a heave ext cord. I used a 100’ and had poor performance at first. Changed cords and bam it was a game changer.

Very Disappointed

My first test was cutting 3 inch wide 3/16 inch thick steel angle. The blade that comes on the saw is too thin and weak. By the time it reached the bottom of the cut, it had extreme side deflection resulting in cutting into the saw base plate and unintended angled cuts. I replaced the thinner blade with a thicker 1/8 inch one and experienced extreme wobble and the saw vibrating across the floor. Neither blade would successfully cut through the steel because the motor kept bogging down to almost ...
