Would RecommendMake sure when you cut that it’s zone out so you can cut a straight line. Don’t rush cutting it

Doesn't make straight cuts, it walks away from you even with a small amount of pressure. Slight pressure and you can see the disc bend away from the original entry cut. I should have researched before I purchased - the whole point of buying a chop saw was to help make straight cuts faster.

Would RecommendIt's DeWalt and I have never had problems with anything from DeWalt that DeWalt hadn't owned and repaired without question. So therefore - I'm good. Oh sorry - yea it cuts steel, copper, wood, and plastic... Change out the blade and masonry as well.

Would Not RecommendJunk. Took an hour to get through 2 cuts of an 1.5” bar. The far end, 2’ out, was too hot to touch by the end of it. Would be faster to just use an angle grinder. Returning in the morning. Blew the 20amp breaker ~10 times in the process.

Does not cut square
Would Not RecommendOverall the motor and base feels like it has good quality to it. If you need straight or accurate cuts this is not the product for you. Blade wobble and deflection is very real with this product. I do not recommend beyond consistent very rough cuts.

Would Not Recommendthe display model was nice.
