Would RecommendFits well on my mailbox post. Holds paint well. Looks great. The flat top easily fit the 3” ball I needed to screw into the top. The adhesive strip is not really useful, especially since I had to drill a hole through it. But the sealant caulk I used to fill in cracks on my old post was sufficient to hold it in place as I screwed in the ball.

Very poor quality
Would Not RecommendWe built a new deck and used 15 of these post caps. They were expensive and didn't last a year. They warped (and are not even in hot sun), turned black and stuff started coming out from under them. We threw them in the trash!
