Purchased 4 post caps to sit on top of supporting post on a pergola. Perfect fit. I will paint white at a later date. So far, working well and withstanding mother nature.

Looks good at first only lasted 2 weeks

Looked great at first. But after about two weeks they all are warping and falling apart. Complete garbage and a waste of money.

Poor Quality

Holds stain well. After applied to post and subject to rain the top of cap became separated from body that wraps around post. It was glued and did not hold up in weather.

Pine Deck post caps

We bought these a couple weeks ago. Stained them and a week later one of them has split a come apart at the staples. We are going to have to purchase another one. Not thrilled this happened. Hopefully the next one want do this.

Looked nice at first but the sides are put together together with cheap iron staples that rusted through after 2 years so the sides fell off. And the top of the cap apparently uses cheap glue as it’s not strong enough to keep it from warping and separating from the rest of the cap. Bases split and separated despite a generous application of quality stain. Great product if you want to replace them every year!

Great looking but...

Beautiful design but they need to be made of hardwood. The pine cracks and distorts. It's much too soft. I finished priming all 23 that I bought. I'm keeping them because I attached them with adhesive and it would take a lot of time to remove them but I'm certainly not thrilled with them.

After one year over half of the 18 or so I used were cracked or badly warped.

Nice looking, but . ..

We purchased 42 ($400) of these beautiful post caps even after reading the few bad reviews about them warping and falling apart. As a coating engineer, I thought I could apply 2 coats of stain and a coat of sealer to eliminate the warping. WRONG! They lasted all of one year and rapidly warped and fell apart. Good conversation piece with neighbors as they bring you parts that fall in ther yards. Stay away. Our great new post caps came from Atlanta Post Cap (Moca Brown Estate) w/ 10 year war...

Save Your Money

Upon first glance these look great, however after about a week they started warping and the wood around the base started splitting apart. We do have a sunny deck, but I was still shocked at how quickly they warped and came apart. Luckily we had not stained or attached them yet and were able to return. The are obviously very cheaply made.

Lowe's has a lot of products at their stores that can make your patio or deck into something you can be proud of. Add a little ginger bread and whala!
