Finishing touch to my gate and fence!
These are great-looking postcaps - I've only had a couple crack or come apart at the corners and that took several years. The only downside to them is the tight fit on a 6 x 6 post; most of the posts have to be trimmed on one or more sides with a skillsaw in order to get the caps on. That is more a problem with the posts than the caps, 6 x 6 posts can vary as much as a 1/4" in size, and the caps are made to fit tightly on a correctly sized 6 x 6. Would Not RecommendThey separate, warp and split with within 3 years. Poorly assembled and made of v. poor quality wood. Expensive to have to redo in such -- at least to me -- a short amount of time.
