I purchased 2 Railing Kits along with 2 Stair rail Kits to replace the Cedar Railings and Posts on my Existing Deck, They Look Great and won't require hours of time to Strip and re-stain every couple of years. The Railing kits are complete with all the necessary attachments. Posts have to be purchased separately, can be attached to existing posts. The kit is well made and relatively easy to assemble and place. With that said the only draw back is the tolerance is to tight for the top rail conn...

Deck railing should be available in both, 6' and 8' lengths. Or, the manufacturer should supply a splicing kit. If post spacing is greater than 68 1/2 inches, you have to install another post and cut two rails to fit the smaller opening. Extra time and expense when an inexpensive alternative should be available.

Very Pleased!

The rails are very nice and are corrugated on the inside which makes them more stable than what you would expect. We are attaching them to our carports wooden beams that are painted gray and they really look so good. I am so proud for people to see them.

Agree with other reviewer....

Nice and strong once installed, but instructions are next to worthless. I’ve done a ton of significant home renovations and repair in my life, and I pride myself on being able to do, or figure out most anything, but the installation on these confounded me. I ruined one to the tune of $170, and that was after struggling through (but sucessfully installing) 2 already. Have to just wing it, because the instructions are just plain terrible.

This rail is beautiful and strong but the installation was nothing short or frustrating because the instructions were worthless and pitiful. Word to tbe wise: look at someone else’s and figure it out for yourself because the instructions will be of no help. Make sure you get the 4’ tall posts for any area around stairs; the instructions Never mention this. Trying to figure out the braces is downright painful. Not even good close-up drawings or photos to use as a guide. No website or youtube vid...

Cannot buy the adjustable brackets separately

This is garbage. Try finding an extra adjustable bracket kit.

Pathetic!!

First off the diagram was a 180° off, they had the top as the bottom and vice-versa, the caps that go on the top, the 1 railing had one size, when I opened the second box, those holes required a different size hole in the post, check your boxes, the 1st post box I opened was missing the piece that goes over top the bolts at the bottom, Lowes is awesome, never had a problem in years, but they should rethink selling this garbage!!
