Definitely sticky

Got the gel type, probably should of gotten the thinner liquid type. Used to put carpet on 2x6's replacing boat trailer bunk boards. Gel type hard to brush on, really thick. But my mistake for-not using the liquid type. Stuff very tacky, Think it will do a great job. But--wear rubber gloves, real hard to get off hands. Again my boo boo, shoulda known better.

CONTACT CEMENT

Great stuff !!! Easy to use and easy to spread. I used a 2 " brush and it was great and fast. Highly recommend this over the original contact cement.

Best contact cement

No drip..the best put it where you need it contact cement for woodworking project I have ever used...so good that screws and or nails was optional but not a necessity

Contact Cement that works on vertical surfaces

Needed to reattach the Formica side trim on my kitchen counter. This did the trick nicely. Not a high skill level but suggest you use good ventilation - next time I do this I'll try it in warmer weather where I can more comfortably keep doors and windows open.

Good stuff

I tend to go out of my way to buy DAP products when I can. They've been consistent and reliable with their products. This one is no different. It has worked very well for the various projects I find myself caught up in. The description claims a "no drip" formula and I can say it is pretty accurate. This cement is very thick, and when applied according to instructions, it performs extremely well.

Good Stuff

I like this much better than the smaller glass bottle with brush. Doesn't drag glue strings from the bottle to project.

Smooth & Creamy easy to work with

I have used contact cement for a variety of things over the years, but this gel type is by far the least messy and easiest to work with. I have been using it for veneering furniture, which is hard enough on its own. But you mix in a messy type glue like contact cement and you have your work cut out for you. The gel makes your project so much easier, easier to spread, easier to handle and easier to clean up. It definitely cuts your workload in half. This table's top was trashed but now look at it...

Perfect for my needs!

Used this on my 68 Volkswagen Beetle to put in carpet padding and headliner padding. Definitely use in a well ventilated area. Working times are perfect. Highly recommended.

Works as advertised.

Strong smell so ensure it's used in a well ventilated area, but worked great. Used it to glue cork board to some plyboard.

Longer than expected

Price was good. Took longer than expected to set up. Used it to repair rotten area between logs. Maybe it was me, but this stuff ran. Eventually it cured, and I was able to use flex chinking over it.
