Finally a string trimmer with everything I wanted

I need a string trimmer with an adjustable shaft length, because I’m very short. I also prefer a bump feed head, because I find auto feed heads to be unreliable. Finally, I prefer the heads that can be reloaded without disassembly. I’ve never been able to find a string trimmer with all these features until now. Got this last weekend and have already used it multiple times. Plenty of power and the battery lasts more than long enough to go around my entire house, shed, garden, trees, and kids play set. I usually mix between high and low. I chose this unit over the two cheaper 20v units because this one allows you to take the head off the unit and isnt perminitely attached like the other two. Works good for electric, much lighter.

The battery life and strength are pretty decent for the product and price. I am all over happy with the product and would recommend.

Purchase 05/13/2019 The battery does not perform

The battery does not perform as advertised. Purchased the trimmer today, had the battery fully charged, used it for about 20 minutes and it was dead. Battery is advertised to last up 45 minutes per charge, however running the trimmer in its low speed and only getting 20 minutes of run time, is not even close to those 45 minutes. Apart from the battery issue so far, the trimmer does work pretty good, was able to finished all my yard, it has a powerful motor.

Outstanding run time, quiet and lighter

I bought this a couple of days ago. After charging the battery I started to work on trimming up around the trees and driveway on my five acres. The battery lasted almost an hour on low, it just about outlasted me! I had mowed first so I was only trimming in the areas I couldn't get with the mower such close to the trees and the like. Trimmer is lightweight, easy to use, has good power and thread spool is easy to release.

Low Battery Life

I purchased this trimmer today 5/5/19 and i am definently not impressed with the 45 minute run time claim as stated on the box. i used the trimmer on low speed along a chain link fence line and was able to trim for 20 minutes and completed only half of my backyard. Awesome string trimmer!!

I replaced a well known orange colored gas string trimmer with this Craftsman string trimmer. In my opinion this one works better. I maintain not only about 1 1/2 acres at my own home, but also a few rental properties and this string trimmer does it all, no issues. I am able to run it on the low setting and it cuts everything. Battery lasts a long time!

I was honestly blown away by how well this trimmer did. Battery said it would last up to 45 minutes and I think it lasted at least an hour. I have about 1 1/4 acres with a small ranch and two decent hills. I was able to trim all around the house and driveway (which is at least 400 feet) and then down by the main road I have a bank that is probably 350 feet by 10 and I was able to do about 3/4 of that on one charge then I was able to finish that bank, trim around 4 trees, and do another steep ban...

Very impressive!

This trimmer works great. I wanted something light and easy to use for light trimming when I didn’t want to use my large 4 stroke trimmer but find myself using this trimmer most of the time. It is lightweight, quiet, and works better than I ever thought a battery powered trimmer would work. Battery life is also better than I was expecting.

The quick spool fell apart in the first use.Seemed like it was going to be a good one but took it back after that

Great weed eater

I bought this weed eater to supplement lawn mowing. I didn’t want a gas model and after researching several brands I chose this one. I like the two power settings and the variable speed and it being brushless.

Broken right out the box

Not sure how the battery or power are as the spool cover broke right out of the box. The clips holding the bump cover in would not click in and when I tried to hold it in the clip cracked. Not a good sign for a bump-and-go design. Instructions are not great either for assembly. Returning and hoping for better luck with house brand Kobalt.

15 minutes of run time on full charge

I bought this today and let the battery charge. Started using it and was pleased with how well it cut. Then 15 minutes lter the battery died. Have tonlet the battery cool before ot will begin its 2hr charge cycle.
