Line Feed Horrible

I've had this weed eater for about 4 months. Within the first month, the line feed quit working. I had to manually advance the line after this. Used it a few days ago and a part broke in the head so now the line won't even hold in place. It's useless now and I can't find a replacement. If you want a crap product buy Craftsman.

Manufacture has a great warranty they back up.

It works perfect ,it's not that heavy ,and I like it the automatic string .

It only lasts 45 min battery

The battery last only about 45 minutes. Otherwise is ok.

Awesome 20V Trimmer

I previously owned a Dewalt 20V and Kobalt 40V trimmer. This Craftsman, by far is the best in my opinion... I'm pushing 70 yrs old. This is light enough and the 4 ah battery lasts a lot longer than the other trimmer batteries. It might not be as powerful as the Kobalt I owned, but it's perfect for me and my needs. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the first one I bought had an issue with the lock that locks the top and bottom bars. I adjusted it to my comfort and used it several times...

Battery sucks

Been charging the battery all day, it only lasted for 5 minutes. Maybe it's defective, but now I have to file a warranty claim and wait for them to repair the battery and send it back to me, what a hassle. I just want a product that works.

Love the push button line feed.

This product is amazing. I live in a duplex and use it to trim my entire fenced in backyard. The cut was great and it only used 1/3 of the fully charged battery. When we get a larger home, I will be looking into the battery powered push/self propelled mowers.

Lightweight and yet still very capable

Lightweight and pretty capable for 'normal' weed-eating compared to my 2 stroke one. The gas powered one is too long and too heavy for my wife and/or son to manage. So - that allows them to help a bit with the lawn maintenance. Adjustable length and handle placement helps. We were going to get an extra battery but ended up getting a second complete string trimmer/battery/charger when on sale for the same price as a single 4ah battery.

Liked the good price. Liked the fact it came with a battery and charger. Liked the ease of extending the trimmer line. Very easy to extend length of Trimmer pole.

Stay Away

Battery life is HORRIBLE. Taking mine back now. Very little power from this trimmer.

Good for small jobs

I bought this because my gas weed eater quit working. I was a bit skeptical of its power and battery longevity. I was satisfied with both.

Lightweight and easy to use.

Light weight & does a decent job. Doesn't really tackle the thick tough grass, but I didn't expect it to after reading other reviews before buying. I wanted something easy to start, easy to use for the front section of my house. I have a bigger tougher weedeater beast for the tough stuff.
