Doesn't Feed

Bought this in the spring of 2019, a year after getting my home. The first spool of string lasted the entire summer but ran out after the first few uses in 2020. Manually fed it since up until last year when miraculously it fed for the first time with a new spool about 70% of the time. Money Pit

I purchased this in 2019. The auto feed stopped working after the first spool of line ran out. I bought the 3-pack of replacements (at $25) and - of course - the auto feed didn't work for any of them, so I started to re-wind them with my own line at a much less cost. trimmer string doesn't feed out

Got this trimmer recently and the spool refuses to feed the trimmer string. You can press the feed button all day long and nothing will come out... The trimmer is good otherwise but sucks in that it won't feed.

Do not buy it just to try it

I purchased this for $150 (including taxes) so I could help my mother cut down a ton of overgrown weeds. I'm used to gas powered trimmers, like the Echo, which can easily run through thick weeds and brush. I figured this might not be that powerful, but it could probably go through 1/4" stems growing out of concrete at least. Know What To Expect

I'm sure this thing is okay if you're intending to use it for grass and light weeds. It's made mostly of plastic. Very light. I used it for a minute or two before deciding to return it, so I can't say how long it'll last. It's not going to cut through brush or weed stems that are 1/4" thick. It might be for somebody, so I'm not going to bomb the rating, but when I'm looking for a weed wacker, I'm hoping it'll take care of a little more than some grass and dandelions.

Does the job well

Battery last for my entire property on high with not even a slow down, including edging, it is auto feed, so everytime you depress the trigger, it feeds line, the feed button, (I've learned) is more for the edging, you go through more line edging than trimming, which is normal for any trimmer, this allows you to feed the line on a long edging run, I have an average quarter acre property with average bedding (deck, flower beds, trees etc.) and it does the job no problem, super light weight and du...

String does not feed

The string on my weed eater does not advance. I have to stop take apart and manually advance. I notice this is a major issue with this tool based on all the reviews. It would be good customer service to let people know how this can be fixed or how the problem can be resolved via feedback on these reviews rather than forcing everyone to write it up. You could provide a video on how to fix it! Thank you!

Beware ordering online

This items works as expected once I receive one that wasn't previously owned. I won't be ordering online again for in-store pick up as I believe I originally received an item that was returned broken and resold.

All the problems

I am finding that I am experiencing many of the problems noted below. I have to manually feed the string, I can't find a replacement spool, and the battery life has not been great. I live in a remote community in Northern Canada so it is hard to get equipment or parts if I can't order on line.

Little option to control line length

I bought this weed eater because it shows to have a button that allows ME to extend the line. It is true that it has a button, but the line extends at will and the weed eater will actually stop working because the line it self-extended is too long. So, I have to stop, rewind the line, and then continue. This is NOT what was advertised. Had I known it would self-extend the line, I would not have purchased this item.
