What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the trimmer's lightweight design and exceptional battery life, with most completing large yards on a single charge. Many appreciate its ease of handling and note it performs comparably to gas models. However, some experience frustrating line feed mechanism issues where the string either advances uncontrollably or fails to feed, requiring manual intervention. A few report power limitations with dense vegetation. Despite these drawbacks, most customers find the ergonomics and battery performance outweigh the concerns.

It really works pretty good on a fully charged battery. If your yard isn’t so big.

Good price for everything it does.
Would RecommendGood price. I like the adjustable handle and the ease of being able to turn it from trimming to edging. Also, lightweight.

Can't locate parts. I need a new spool head assembly OR A SPOOL THAT FITS all spools on the market are too tight. I ALSO NEED A SPOOL CAP THAT FITS. WHERE ARE YOUR PROPER PARTS FOR THIS MODEL???
From craftsman.com
There is a design flow in the head itself. There is a small part at the bottom of the head under where the string goes. This melted off rendering the trimer useless. It no longer lets string out.I called Craftsman and this part is not availble. My trimer is 2 years old.Now they have my money and no way to get a 30.00 part to replace the bad head unit. Not good.
Well pleased
Would RecommendThis is a great string trimmer and the price is reasonable. Just a heads up....the trimmer uses a single filament vs a double filament. This is no biggie to me as I only use it for light work but may be a show stopper for some.

String feed stopped working.
Would Not RecommendWithin the first few uses the string line feed stopped working. Have to disassemble every 5 mins now to feed the line by hand. Very frustrating. Otherwise works well with great battery life but the line feed failure is a dealbreaker.

Line Feed is useless after two uses.
Would Not RecommendWe have used this for a few weeks. It has decent power and cuts fine but the line feed system is a joke. I am still using the original spool but the line feed doesn't work at all anymore. I have to turn the unit upside down and do it by hand and often I have to take the cover off to even get that to work. I expected more for the price of this unit. I wish I could return it.
Easy to handle - even for older folks
Would RecommendThe battery lasted MUCH longer than I expected. I used it to cut through some tough crabgrass. The handle attachment was a little tough to attach because the screw kept going into the wrong place, but after I got it together, I really like the fact that it is adjustable in two places. I'm an older woman, and the weight is evenly distributed, making it easy to work. This is MUCH easier than my old power cord type! I also liked the fact that you don't have to keep bumping it on the ground to expos...

Batteries Don't Last
Would Not RecommendI have a blower and trimmer. Both items work very good and have no issues with the equipment. The batteries 4AH and 2AH will not last long enough to trim 350 feet of trimming. Will be returning to Lowes for a refund.
