Pole is great. BLADE is not thick enough and bends. FLIMSY blade.

Works Great!

Used it to trim palm branches. Worked like a charm and kept me off of the ladder.

Did the job

I needed to cut some tree limbs in anticipation of an upcoming hurricane, and was able to do so, with this tool with relative ease.

Very easy to use

It saves me from having to climb the tree and is very easy to use and the blade stay Sharp

The handle extends and locks into place as it should. I would have rated this product higher if the blade was just a little heavier/rigid as it tends to lay on its side under pressure. Otherwise it works fine. Replacement blades are available.

Cheap trimmer that needs a lot of strength to cut

This is the bottom line for tree trimmers and it shows. I have had better trimmers and I thought I would give an el cheapo a try. When fully extended, it flexes so much that there is minimal pressure to the saw. The saw itself is poor. The teeth are not aggressive and it takes a lot of persistence to cut through small limbs.

Works well!

Extendable and could reach almost all the dead limbs in my trees. It's work but I broke the job into smaller tasks. Much safer than a chain saw and a ladder.

Pole saw

The saw was junk. It extended but then it wouldn’t hold in place. Certainly not a tool for any serious work.

Worked great!

Bought one for some limb trimming over our pool area. Works very well but does get wobbly fully extended despite that we were able to get a lot done. Gets the job done and was very happy with it!

Saw could be a little thicker and teeth could be sharper -- usually these kind of saws cut well on the down pull -- I found this saw required more effort

This saw has been extremely effective and well designed. I highly reccomend it.

As Bad As Others Say It Is

Flimsy blade that buckles when pushed. Teeth have little to no set so the blade jams easily on the thin kerf. Junk.

Flimsy

I've purchased 2 similar models, this one was the less expensive one by $10 and I returned it after 5 minutes of use and purchased the other again. The blade is extremely flimsy which makes it very difficult to hold a line and cut straight from such a distance. If the blade were the thicker one, I'd give it 4 stars for durability alone.

Customer support turned a 1 into a 4

I bought this saw after playing with the pruning blade and the extension handle but not closely inspecting the blade - because they are all razor sharp, right?! Nope. The teeth looked sharp at a quick glance, but the blade would not cut at all. I emailed a description of the problem to customer service at Corona, and a CSR replied with an offer to send a replacement blade. They sent the blade, and it was razor sharp. Problem solved!
