What Customers Are Saying

The product received mixed reviews. Many found it effective for cutting small to medium-sized branches, praising its lightweight design and extended reach. However, a significant number reported issues with the blade's quality and durability, including it becoming dull, bending, or breaking easily, even with light use. Some also noted concerns about the overall construction, such as loose screws and weak components. The consensus suggests this is a suitable, affordable option for occasional, light-duty use, but may not be durable enough for more demanding tasks.

Flembsy Pole Saw

Would Not Recommend

Purchased pole saw to cut some tree branches. I was satisfied with the quality of the pole itself but disappointed in how flembsy the blade was. Too too long to cut branches.

Saw handle breaks, saw bends

Would Not Recommend

Saw blade got stuck while cutting branch. Saw plastic head snapped. No replacement plastic head. Also, blade is weak. It bends easily.

Perfect size

Would Recommend

I bought a much longer one some years ago. Although it worked great....I'm just getting too old to handle the longer one. So I purchased this one. It is a lot easier to handle.

Great for low thin branches

Would Not Recommend

Cutting a west indian mahagony: 1st branch about 3" thick went well with pole NOT extended. 2nd branch about 2" thick with pole fully extended, took a really long time... Pole had a bit of flex which didn't allow for enough pressure on the saw blade. My opinion if you need it for light 'low' branch trimming it's great. If you have to work on high branches, spend the extra money and get the small chain saw on a pole... unless you want an extreme triceps workout.

Corona Saw is a Moderate Performance Tool

Would Recommend

The extendable 12 ft pruning saw is good for all the light work out of reach of regular pruning tools. The pruning saw on the end is light weight. It is too flexible for sawing anything more than about an inch diameter. With resistance the saw blade bends so much you usually just give up. So, small branches and light work, it works fine. Nothing heavy duty about it.

Nice pole, the saw blade is terrible

Would Not Recommend

The Corona name used to be synonymous with quality. Based on this pole saw, that's a thing of the past. The extendable pole works as it should. The pole locks in place at any length in it's range and stays there while sawing. I mentioned sawing didn't I? The blade on the saw I bought was dull as heck out of the packaging. Seriously! A pole saw DEPENDS on the blade being razor sharp to work. It's not like one can apply a great deal of leverage on a blade at the end of a ten foot pole. If the blad...

Junk

Would Not Recommend

Complete junk. Pole and pruner are ok, blade binds and bends on 2-3 inch branches making them impossible to cut. The blade mounting mechanism is also extremely poorly done and comes loose. This appears to be something that at one time was a quality product but cost cutting has turned into junk. Do not buy unless you enjoy being extremely frustrated.

Ok saw

Would Recommend

This saw will cut, but it will take a little while to cut through and you must angle the blade right.

Corona pole saws are horrible

Would Not Recommend

Lets start with the saw: its a poor excuse for a saw - sawing through a 2 inch diameter limb will take you forever and you will be thoroughly exhausted. There is NO adjustment for blade angle (a bad bad design). The wing nut used to tighten the blade to the saw is constantly coming loose. Now for the pole itself: When you extend the pole, the saw becomes basically un-useable - it is like the pole is a piece of spaghetti. It is so limber you won't believe that Corona expects someone to actually u...
