Slipping and sliding
Would Not RecommendThe locking nut that secures the top half to the bottom pole keeps slipping and will not lock into position, therefore the pole is useless it keeps sliding up and down and will not lock into position to start cutting. VERY BAD DESIGN! otherwise the removal portion of the hand saw part is a good idea and it can accomadate different types of Corona blades.

About the extndable pruining saw...
Would RecommendThe blade is a bit flimsy, but very sharp and cuts well. I have a load of Junipers in my yard, that needed pruning, and that species can be tough to cut. The saw got through some 4-5 inch branches with no problem. The extendable handle is great and enabled me to reach up to some pretty high places. I feel that this saw is a petty nice deal for the price.
