Fantastic Grill

I've never used a grill like this one and I have to say, I'm absolutely impressed! It's basically a set it and forget it and the food comes out perfectly smoked.

Amazing value with a few weak spots

I purchased this grill 10 months ago and have used it about 40 times. It works exactly as advertised. HOWEVER, there are a few quality issues that will hopefully be addressed in future models. First, the seal around the hopper door isn't as tight as it could be, and on windy days, the small amount of air entering that gap makes it difficult to maintain lower temps. Second, the hopper door switch is prone to failure (not hard to fix yourself). And third, tiny pieces of charcoal can get caught in ...

I totally love my new Gravity Fed Charcoal Grill! No more hovering over the grill monitoring for flare ups. No more constantly moving to food away from hot spots to prevent uneven cooking. No more overly charred food. No more removing hot racks to add more charcoal.

Price Hike!!!

There is no way this grill is worth the current price point of $749. it's cheaply made and is not built to last. The electronic functions will fail you in less than a year and thus making it useless. stay far far away from this and go with the masterbuilt 800 it's cheaper and has a Griddle and heavy duty made to last.

Amazing and well built smoker grill all in one

I have had 3 smokers and countless grills and this grill smoker outperforms them all. And by the way my sons wife bought him one for fathers day and she and my wife and her mom assembled the smoker and I was amazed they could do it as the parts were heavy. Then we tried it out all I can say is wow this will replace my weber smoker and grill smoke low and slow 150-16 degrees or smoke steaks at 500 degrees I am impressed.

Didn't even make it a year

Broke around the 9 month mark and dealing with customer service has been a complete headache.

Excellent cooking grill and smoking.

On my first cook got a error on the Fan and flapper that covers the fan was melted down .

Good when it works

I bought this grill on 12/31/21 and enjoyed how well it seemed to work, but by march 15, 2022 i needed a new fan. i bought the fan from chargriller because i lost my lowes receipt for warranty replacement parts. Part was easy to swap, and used the grill about more 10 times without any issues. Just went to use the grill (4/26/22) and once again the fan has failed. Waiting to hear back from char griller regarding replacement of a one month old fan. For the price, i should have a little more reliab...

I would not purchase again....so far

Can't attest to actual performance yet. Based solely on assembly and printed directions I would not recommend. Worst directions I've ever seen. I have plenty of experience building and repairing and these directions were the worst. Manufacture would not stand behind poor diagrams and instructions. Several diagram errors. I hope I come to love this grill but out of the box start very poor.

Absolutely horrible

Nothing but issue after issue with this grill. When I got it there was an error in the wiring that I had to manually rectify. Bad quality control. Hopper lid was crooked. Leaking smoke everywhere from the hopper, too. Missing bolts. Cracked enamel. The fan box was cracked too, they had to send a replacement. I had to get 2 replacements for my meat probes as they are also unreliable. Now the switches are broken. The controller no long connects to any phones, either. I really regret buying t...

great grill love it

Only reason for not 5 stars is i bought this already assembled from lowes, they installed the charcoal hopper wrong, grill wouldnt warm up past 200. After a few cooks i had time got into manual and figured it out. Afterwards grill is great! I love it

Piece of Trash

Wow, I had such high hopes for this grill, but it is a piece of junk. Since having this grill it has been nothing but frustration after frustration. The construction and quality of the grill is poor. My front shelf right bracket on the grill broke the first week of having the grill. I submitted a warranty claim at least two months ago and I've yet to receive the replacement part.
