There Isn't Anything You CAN'T Cook On This Thing!

I purchased this after using my Father-in-Laws flat iron grill, and I absolutely LOVE it! There's NOTHING you can't cook on this grill! Assembly was very simple and straight-forward. This unit is very sturdy, and well-made. The grease collection location and design is FAR better than any other flat iron skillet grill on the market, IMHO.The temperature and temp zone controls work very well. We have this griddle at our Lake house at The Lake of the Ozarks and have not had any issues with it. We actually love it. We cook everything on it, from burgers and steaks to vegetables and breakfast as well. We decided to get another one for our house. It was received slightly damaged with a dent in one of the shelves, and the steel griddle rocking/teetering on the supports. I am giving this a 2 review pending resolution.

The most fun I've had cooking outside

I have had so much fun cooking on the Char Griller Flat Iron griddle. So many more options for cooking than with a traditional grill. The Char-Griller Flat Iron griddle has the largest cooking surface of all the 4-burner offerings out there and this particular model comes with a cover/lid for extra protection. The Griddler Strikes!

Grill runs hot even on low temp setting but i am getting used to it. Also the shelf can not be screwed in because the holes dont line up but the shelf fits snug without the screws so i will see how it goes without them.

I love it. Opens up so many more possibilities than just a grill. I'm not going to give up my charcoal grill or my smokers but this thing has been doing the biggest share of cooking since I bought it. The sticker on the cook surface is a dumb idea but I didn't have any major difficulties peeling it off. Just scrub it good before seasoning.

Very versatile griddle

Was excited to pick up this flat top griddle. I love cooking with my cast iron skillets and this griddle is right on par. Very easy to clean after cooking with. Love the magnet on the side to hold my cooking tools.

Not enough heat

Love the size, but unless you only have one section turned on, it does not get hot enough

You can tell it's made well!

In the 5 days we have owned it, we have used it 3 times. You can easily tell it will be durable and last a long time. It is so easy to use, the griddle is very large, and it has cooked everything evenly and to perfection. My wife was initially concerned about the price tag but she agrees it is well worth it! I would buy it again!

Flat Iron Gas Griddle

Works great for making breakfast. Makes great omelets. Use it to make smash burgers and regular hamburgers.

Family hibachi night and fajita night are now two of our family favorites. Great for weekend breakfast too!

I would buy this product again

Was in the market for a Blackstone. After seeing this next to a Blackstone and a few other griddles this definitely looked better built and a better quality. The sticker took less than 10 minutes to remove with a hairdryer.

Terrible sticker placement

There was a sticker covering the entire grilling area. Next to impossible to remove, leaving glue all over griddle. Customer service only recommended hot water or peanut butter. Several hours to remove completely. When I complained afterward I merely got an I'm sorry. A little something for my trouble would have been more appropriate. Other than that I love it.

Awesome!!

This griddle is awesome! The most tideous part of setting it up is seasoning it and that wasn't even that bad, took maybe an hour. All the negative reviews mention the big sticker on the grilling surface. It took maybe 5 minutes to get it all off it definitely wasn't as bad as others reviewed. The griddle has been very easy to clean and the food so far coming off of it has been great.

Best griddle ever!

This griddle can literally cook anything! It heats up quick and the temperature controls are easy to manipulate. Seasoning is fast and easy too. I recommend this to everyone.

Nice Griddle! Looks Great and cooks Great!

With the exception of a very tight fit getting the bottom shelf in, assembly was very easy. The bottom shelf, in my case took me and my gf to squeeze it in. Once in, set up was simple. I am suggesting that the manufacturer would use a lower adhesive on the promotional sticker that is on the main cooking surface. It took some time to get it off. I had to burn, scrape, oil, and burn at least 4 times to get the sticky residue off. With that being said, as of now everything is great. Nice and sturdy...

Sticker on cooking surface

I gave this grill to my husband for his birthday and he spent the first 3-hours trying to remove the sticker and adhesive off of the grilling surface. I can't believe you expect people to cook on this with the glue that is used with the sticker. At one time, we had three of use trying to remove it. I do not recommend this grill to anyone unless this feature is changed. A new top without any sticker and residue would be nice.
