Just Purchased, Assembled and Seasoned ... Ready to Grill!

After considerable online research, just purchased this grill over the weekend. Assemble was a snap with good instructions (and having prepared by watching YouTube videos in days prior to purchase). Spent first day seasoning per instructions and multiple online video testimonials. Will season again today and have inaugural cook later this week. This is our first flat iron grill!

A friend of ours took a flat iron to the camp grounds and made breakfast for all of us. It was fast, and tasted great. LoL it was so good that my in-laws bought one that next week, and it inspired us to buy one a few months later. It's awesome!!

Piece of Junk!

Bought this flat grill and it almost blew up on me after a few months of use. Flames blew back behind the heat shield and engulfed the igniter and the wires. They only sent me new wires and thenproblem happened again. They tried blaming it on spiders instead of their poor design. Awful customer service and they do not stand behind their products

Didn't know what I was missing!

Have cooked several meals on it so far. Even with the current singe digit temps it still heats up fast and cooks meals in a fraction of the time it takes inside. The sticker that's on it is held on by magnets so it comes right off. Bought mine at menards so it came with the added cover which was nice. Bottom shelf does take some muscle to get it installed, but it's easy to put everything together in about 20 minutes. Overall it's a great griddle, with a much better price point compared to Blacks...

Didn't know what i was missing!

This thing is amazing. I currently own a traeger pellet grill, pit boss pellet smoker, and a chargriller propane grill. Decided to add this to my outdoor kitchen and man am I glad I did. I've had this for around a month and have cooked several meals on it. The biggest advantage is that you can cook so much food on it so quickly. Awesome Griddle

Easy and quick to assemble even through it's a large griddle. The cooking area is large enough to serve a big crowd but the 4 separate burners make it adaptable when cooking for a couple. I would pick the 4 burner over the 2 burner anytime! The wheels make it easy to move around.

Love it

I love this grill. I got it after Christmas and am very happy with my choice. It was very easy to assemble (though it took 2 people to get the lower shelf in place). I had one sparked that didn't work so I called customer service and they were very quick to get a new one out. Easy to season and control the cool zones, it cooks great even when it's cold out (29 degrees). The shelves are big and can hold everything you need, plus the magnet on the side shelf comes in handy.

The item was a gift and they liked it very much. Your ordering on line sucks and trying to git information on delivery was unless - I will order elsewhere next time. NOT THAT MY RESPONCE WILL GET ANYWHERE BUT FILE 13 SO THAT THE HIGER UPS WILL EVER READ THE REMARKS.

I have used all types of methods to cook outdoors. I currently own two charcoal grills, a wood grill, an electric smoker, and a gas grill. The whole family loves the flavor of charcoal grilled food, but when we cook indoors we really like to use our cast iron cookware. With that in mind, I decided to try the flat iron griddle for a quick way to cook a lot of different foods quickly and easily outside. So Versatile

I saw this in the store and had to get one. Thicker and more heavy duty than others. Warms up quickly and ready in minutes. Does all the meals! Breakfast pancakes, French toast. Hash browns or do you prefer country potatoes? Both crispy Lunch burgers sandwiches hotdogs Dinner Fajitas or steaks. I keep finding new things I can make on it.

box had extensive damage when it was delivered..

Box had extensive damage when it was delivered and grill had several dents in the grill frame. The grill shelving was extremely hard to get in place and the instructions were very vague and no help at all. Would have returned the grill bc of the damage if it werent such a hassle.

Great product and company

This grill is very well Built and cooks great. Was easy to assemble. I had a couple of wrong shelf brackets. Called customer service, human answered and took care of it right away. That volumes to me that this company is very proud of their products.

Wonderful Grill and Great Company

I bought this grill on a whim visiting Menards. I have been wanting to do flat top grilling. This grill is very well built. The lower shelf was a tight fit, but actually helps the stiffness of grill. Product was packaged with 2 shelf brackets that wrong. I had 4 right side brackets and needed 2 left and 2 right. Char-Griller quickly answered phone and immediately sent out correct brackets. Great griddle!

Bought at Menards with rebate =240$ great deal if not a steal. Thought about getting the Blackstone, but I'm glad I went with the Char Griller. I like the grease trap being on left front vs Blackstones being in the rear center. Mine went together fast and after watching tutorials on how to season the flat top I seasoned it nicely. I highly recommend this flat top griddle.

quality issue

Lowes service is grate, it is char griller has quality issue my frist flat iron was not so flat it was bent i return it and order second it was good till i used it second time one of the heat dispersing metal bar under cooking surface came loose from its welding very bed quality once again its not lowes its quality from char griller...

Great flat grill!

At the time of this review, we've had the flat iron grill for a week and cooked about 5 meals on it. First night we did habatchi with chicken and steak. Very good results, although with all the veggies, rice, eggs and meat cooking you need a card table or something to keep all the prepped and cooked food and all the bowls and plates and utensils. Great griddle

Great griddle, stand is better built than the blackstone, no wobble. Great deal at Menards, 270 with top lid before rebate. The now use magnets to hold down the information on the cook top, not glue.

Game Ghanger!

We've been contemplating a flattop for over a year, thinking we could somehow convert our existing humongous stainless steel beauty. Saw Char Griller flattop in a store 2 weeks ago, reasonably priced, 4 individual burners & lid. Been cooking on it ever since! You're limited only by your creativity!
