Easy to season. Great to cook on. Clean up is a breeze. Love it.

Awesome grill / one minor flaw

FIRE the one or ones that thought putting a full size sticker on top of the grilling area was a good idea. Literally spent hours trying to remove the sticker and then the left behind glue residue. Could have easily just used vinyl, piece of paper or glue dots to accomplish the same thing....it would have just lifted off. I was also disappointed that my cook top is uneven and wobbles corner to corner. Thought it may even out after heating up but so far that is not the case. Now that I got that of...

Don't think so

The sticker on the griddle get real took me half an hour to try to get it off and still didn't get it all. The self was hard getting the self in between legs and one hole didn't line up, had to line tap it.

Why would you use a sticker like that on the cooking surface

In case anyone missed it in the headline section or "cons," who chose to place a fully adherent sticker on the cooking surface? I believe it's the same adhesive that holds the tiles on space shuttle needed for reentry into the Earth's atmosphere. We tried scraping the sticker off which took 30 minutes alone. Husband Loves this griddle

Got this for honey for his birthday to go with his smoker he got for Christmas. Been wanting one for awhile. First one could not get the glue off left behind from the large sticker they used on the griddle. Called them for suggestions. Nothing worked. Took it back to the store to try another one. Great product, just 1 complaint

Right from the box you can feel the quality of this griddle. It is very well built, and the magnet in the shelf is a nice touch. The only complaint I have is with the adhesive they used for the sticker on the griddle. A sticky putty or something less adhesive would have been a better choice. I spent an hour scraping off the sticker and left behind residue, when itonly took me 20 mins to assemble the grill.

Best griddle yet. I've owned another 28" griddle and it was time for an upgrade and boy was it! Couldn't recommend it more!

Built to last

This griddle was built to last. Easy to put together and easy to season. Love how it cooks. I made teriyaki chicken and fried rice for my first cook and it came out amazing. Cleanup was very easy as well. I always wanted a griddle and this one exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to see what else I cook on it.

I cook on this every day!

I purchased this griddle 2 weeks ago. Since then, I have prepared at least one meal per day on it. Philli cheese steak to burgers, cornbread to pork chops, eggs bacon & hash browns to chicken fajitas. Both direct and indirect cooking has been a breeze. I've had more fun and produced better food than I ever have on my grill. I'm planning on a pizza this afternoon. I'm wondering - can I cook with the lid on? Very happy with my purchase!

Best all-round Gas Griddle ever!!

Once you get the hang of "seasoning" the grill properly, the massive cooking surface (36") makes cooking for any size crowd and multiple items at different temp a breeze!! Add a grill dome for cooking vegetables or poultry and you have the ideal outdoor cooking solution. The quality of construction is outstanding and with the folding side tables, your work surface is perfect. Thanks to Char-Griller for the most durable design we have seen yet!!

Best griddle on the market!

This is best griddle on the market. Very well made. Huge griddle top to cook large and small amounts. Easy to control whether you are wearing or keeps food warm. A must buy for anyone. Highly recommend smashburgers for your first cook.

I cooked for years and have been wanting a flat top for the home cause let's face it, when you're getting deep in some beers how else you gonna make a perfect patty Melt at 3am? It's built tough and for a great price.

Easy and Fun

The griddle was so easy to assemble (2 people needed). The griddle took the first seasoning really well. Great product at a great price. Looking forward to using it this summer.

Fun cooking experience

The Flat Iron Griddle is awesome and a fun cooking experience. Love the durable griddle and it has lots of cooking space. It's simple to put together and easy to collapse and take on the road.

Great large gas griddle and it's portable!

This griddle was put together in 45 minutes. I seasoned it and cooked on it 2 hours later. I cookied 2lbs of beef fajitas meat, 2lbs of beef fajita meat, fajita vegetables and corn and even had room for a pot of beans. once that was done, I cooked 20 fresh flour tortillas at once! The temperature control is great. heats up quickly and clean up was a breeze. Can't wait to do some stir fry and even pancakes and bacon!

Your new best friend!

I fell in love with how easy it was to set up and break back down. The griddle was heavy duty and didn't warp at high temps. It reaches great temps to get the perfect sear, and control if you need to cook in low temps. I can't wait to take it on the road.
