Just a flat awesome grill!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the grill this past April 2025. Setup went smooth and grilling even better. Once you get it dialed in the temp just stays put whether low and slow or hot and fast or anything in between. I’ve been using the grill at 3 least times a week with great success. Ribs, Boston Butt, steaks, pizza, salmon and vegetables all come out wonderful. I actually went from a gas grill to pellet and now the Acorn. The Acorn does a far superior job. Friends...

Great grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the scroll approximately 4 years ago. My husband does the grilling and smoking this baby works great for all of it. He's made ribs pork butt prime rib whole chickens. Everything is always excellent, cooked to perfection!

This grill is GREAT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love cooking on this grill. The amount of flavor and the juiciness that my food has after coming off my Akorn is phenomenal. I won’t be going back to propane again.

Disappointed and incomplete

Despite what you might think, this does not have Bluetooth capability. Also on first use, I got an ERror message and the unit shut down before reaching 450 degrees F. I reported this an almost a week ago , was told they would ship a new probe, but so far no indication it is on its way. Can’t report on how it cooks because it doesn’t work. Huge disappointment so far.

Be careful of pre assembled buys.

Holds the temperature very close to what is set as

Got it last year for father’s day. Have it at our cabin. Like the temperature control. Easy to use. Only complaint is I want to purchase another one for my home. Always out of stock. I have the regular unit at home that does not have the temperature control . Please up your production so I can get another unit.

Grill stopped working!

I bought this grill in September of 2024. The grill worked fine for about 6 months and now the grill won't even turn on! Im beyond frustrated with this grill. We planned to have company over for a bbq and guess what? The grill wouldnt turn on!!!!

Cooks Well when you can turn it on!

This grill worked fine for me for about 6 months and since then it won't even turn on most days. It is so frustrating!

Great Smoker/Grill for a Great Price!

I have had my Akorn for a a few months and never worked with a kamado style grill/smoker. I learned and quickly became obsessed with it! This grill holds heat incredibly and very even across the entire top. The flavor that gets in the meat with this grill is amazing! If you want a great grill that is reliable and even, this is the one!!

Great grill and a good value

The grill performs exceptionally well, delivering consistent results with every use. However, I’ve noticed that it tends to run a bit hotter than the settings indicate, which can be a bit tricky at times. Despite this minor adjustment, I would wholeheartedly recommend this grill to my friends for its overall reliability and effectiveness.

Dissapointed

Just bought it factory direct to find out i cant use the app cause they no longer support it.info would of been nice to know b4 i purchased.Put it together the handle i have to tighten after every use one of the holes on the hinge of the lid wont tighten down as its stripped.My biggest complaint i could have bought the cheaper one had i known the app is not available.Really dissapointed.

Perfect Grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a expert smoker by any means but this grill makes it so easy and my meat comes off the smoker exactly as it should. I love that it's very versatile and came with the extra rack. After a lot of research I feel that I made the perfect decision when purchasing this grill. A huge advantage for this grill is the price for the quality.

The best budget smoker

If some higher ups see this your doing yourself an injustice if you guys don’t  refine this grill and offer it in to stiffens size options . This grill is so slept on it’s been used for 3 years now and I love it !! It’s so fuel efficient as far as charcoal goes it’s really the best all around

Fantastic grill for the $!

I owned the original version of the Akorn, and I can say this is a much more efficient unit. Utilizes the charcoal almost as well as an Egg, for a fraction of the cost. Great buy for the money!
