Beautiful refrigerator

This is a beautiful refrigerator. It’s roomy and well lit. The freezer has great storage. The only cons are that the ice maker feels cheap and flimsy. The second design flaw is that the right door will not stay open. It closes by itself. I was opening a box of butter to put in the butter shelf. I turned to throw the box away and the door closed. It broke the top off the shelf. I thought maybe the gallon of milk causes it to close so I took it out of the door. It still shuts by itself. I call...

Cafe Series Refrigerator - love the look!

Great refrigerator with plenty of capacity Auto Fill water dispenser feature is a great extra. Very happy with its performance to date. Also really like the look of the platinum glass and NO handles!

Would not buy, beware!

We bought this fridge model which did work great for 8 months. Then all of a sudden the freezer stopped getting cold and did not work at all. The fridge continued to work fine without any issues. We had the GE technician make numerous visits to evaluate and try to troubleshoot the problem with no exact identifiable cause of the temperature discrepancy. They even provided replacement of various parts without any improvement. Now we have had this appliance for numerous months without a freezer and...

Awesome unit - very high tech and so far everything is working perfectly! Looks and responds like something from the future. Great lightning and ample space for everything.

Cafe Refrigerator

I am 68 and this is the best refrigerator I have owned. I love love this Cafe frig. It is very spacious and love the lighting and details

Only 18 days old & handle already broken

We have had this fridge for exactly 18 days. Today the handle pulled off. It’s stripped so can’t be reattached. AND it hasn’t even been opened & closed very many times because half our food is still in the old fridge. For $4k you’d think they could put a decent handle on this thing

Damaged AGAIN

Can't tell you what I like about this Ref as I have had TWO come to my house and neither has made it off the lift-gate of the truck due to damage to the front doors.

One beautiful fridge

We love how beautiful this fridge is inside and out. The only thing a tad bit annoying is how shallow the bins on the door are where the ice maker is, but we knew that when we ordered it. Very easy to organize. The extra drawer works great for premade work lunches and snack items.

Does not work

Bought in November for our kitchen remodeling. Installed this past week and it will not cool or freeze. Called GE and was told I would receive a call from a repair person in about 48 hours to schedule someone to come to look at it. It is a brand new fridge, never used and it does not work.

I like the deli drawer, it seems to keep the items fresh longer. It is very quiet running and the temperature seems to be very accurate.

Be prepared to replace all your food on your own

A fridge should do at least one thing well, and that is keep foods at a cold temperature; all of the aesthetics that go into making a fridge are great extras, but if you can’t cook food, the appliance doesn’t work. Enter this fridge; after 48 hours and multiple cooling cycles, the fridge temp is only a few degrees below room temperature, at 61. I can accept that it might take up to 24 hours to get the fridge cooled, but this one seems to have stalled out at a point where a light jacket would be ...

Beautiful and Functional

This is the best refrigerator we've ever had. It looks great inside and out and gives us plenty of storage space. Middle drawer is probably my favorite since it can be used for refrigeration or freezing, and my husband loves the pizza drawer in the freezer. Only wish the side panels came in white vs selling them as an add on. Pics attached. We took the risk and paired with our stainless appliances. The white with bronze handles was just too cool to pass up!

Freezer does not work!

I received this fridge a month ago and the freezer does not work. GE scheduled a repair call that I had to wait three weeks for them to arrive and then they could not fix it. So, I am back to spending hours on the phone trying to get someone to help me get a replacement and no luck getting anyone on the phone!! Terrible, terrible customer service both from Lowe’s and GE. Now, I am paying $4,000 for a fridge that does not work!

Impressive refrigerator.

Functionally perfect, beautiful, just what I needed. True to measurement, so it fit in my space. Mr. Rafferty and Mr. Yianis did an outstanding job with delivery and set-up; they went above and beyond the call of duty. I couldn’t be more pleased. Now I have room for all the eggs my chickens lay.
