Ratings & Reviews for Cafe Counter-Depth 22.3-cu ft 4 -Door 36-in Wide French Door Refrigerator with Ice Maker ( Stainless Steel with Brushed Stainless Handles ) ENERGY STAR Certified

Disappointed and Concerned

My Cafe Standard Depth Platinum Glass refrigerator was delivered today. I paid over $5000 for this refrigerator. Four $5000 I expect to see perfection. Instead on the left french door along the decorative seam. I see insulation or caulking that used from the seam. The decorative trim on the middle drawer on the right hand side has a huge chip in it and it’s rough and deep to the touch. When you open the refrigerator, there are scratches on the bottom box where the shelves sit. On the sliding fre...

Modern Looking but not for everyone.

Great modern looking refrigerator that functions exactly as promised. Very light and bright inside. One thing to note is that it does not produce a lot of ice (small storage bin) so if you need a lot of ice, this is not for you. The upside is more space inside. Left door requires more force to close due to the seal for the ice maker which means no just pushing it and walking away The only concern is the autofill for water. This is not adjustable and fills glasses to about 1/2 from the to...

Great Fridge

We love the features and configuration of this fridge. The auto-sensing water dispenser is great. We also love the freezer options.

I miss water being dispensed in cup measurements

I like everything about the refrigerator so far except the display screen and not dispensing in cups vs only ounces. I also lost the hot water feature I had on GE Profile but upgraded to Cafe to match other appliances.

lousy refrigerator

the refrigerator is very small even with separate drawers. the lighting inside is like the twilight zone and the ice cubes produced are like the size of pellets

Very disappointed !

After using it for 3 weeks, the freezer started building ice!

Inside water dispenser!!!!

High level look and function!

Great Fridge

So far we love this refrigerator. The LED backlighting was a particular selling point. We also love the overall storage layout. Another major selling point was the multiple temperature options in the middle fridge/freezer drawer

Nice features but interior door shelves break

Overall a nice fridge, especially the water dispenser, but we’ve already had to replace 2 of the shelves on the door, both under normal use. One broke within a 3 months and the other after 6. Neither covered by warranty.

Beautiful refrigerator

This refrigerator is a gorgeous and classy addition to our kitchen as the appearance and style are very elegant. There are a couple of features that we wish were different. This includes the autofill feature, it has overfilled on a couple of occasions and it has stopped well short on others. The fill point for the water dispenser is too close to the edge of the recess forcing users to put whatever they're filling in danger of falling over. The ice dispenser tends to dispense very small cubes...

Great looking refrigerator

Great looking, very functional. Love the counter depth size.

Attractive Appliances

We updated out applicances, refrigrerator, dishwasher and double oven in white. Many compliments were received. The black handles, purchased separately, enhanced the look in our black and white kitchen. The refrigerator contains ample room to keep varying sized food and bottles. Adjustable shelves allow for moving items around. The water/cube dispenser is handy. Vegetable and fruit drawers keep food cold.

Needs attention to detail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design is good, but 1) the display bleeds light making it difficult to see, 2) the defrost cycle is NOISY- keeps us up at night, 3) Ice dispenser is painfully slow!!, 4) water tray is too small to place a coffee pot to auto fill (the old model had a sliding tray); and lastly that expensive water filter.

PERFECTO!

Overall, we’re greatly impressed with the refrigerator. The day it’s designed, quiet, conveniences and ice maker are all wins. The drawers are the best for storage.

Great style and features.

Love my new cafe refrigerator and its great features.
