Does the job

Bought this when we lost power due to the tornado that hit our town, the price at the time was over $920. Overall it does the job, it’s loud, the weight of it is a bit heavy so you will need two people to load it up on your truck or a ramp. Relatively easy to do maintenance on it.

After some high winds shut my power off , I went to Lowe's and purchased this unit, they had 80 in stock , sold out in 2 hours. I was lucky to get one. I got it home and put the wheels on and the front rest. After checking out to make sure it has oil I filled the tank with 5 gallons of fresh gas. I followed the instructions and pulled the rope. Lowes sold me a bad product and won't take it back

- Lowes sold me a bad product and won't take it back, even though it's defective. - Every time I hook a grounded line to it the GFCI trips, even if it was just a light bulb. - I called Birggs and Stratton but they have no human customer service, all what they do is direct you to repair agents. - called the repair agent and was told the product that I bought was discontinued for 3 years by the manufacturer. - Which means the Lowes sold me an old defective product and they won't take it back.' Easy to operate

It was easy to operate. I only plugged in my freezer and refrigerator and it could have handles more. I now have a piece of mind when my electric goes out when storms comes around and knocks out the utilities. It's the best purchase I have made.

Lives up to its Briggs and Stratton name.

It is very easy to operate. The display screen keeps track of all the consumables like when to check or change the oil, air filter, and spark plug. It also came with wheels and pull bar that most do not. It came in handy as it is very heavy. My only complaint is that it is louder than I anticipated.

The wheels and the resting pod/stand were the only two parts to be attached to the generator. Took only 15-20 minutes to set up. Oil is already added prior to shipping. I was very happy with the fact that after adding gas, the generator started on the first pull!! The manual walks you through each step in preparing the generator for use/
