Owned many generators and Briggs and Stratton engine in a different brand altogether was good years ago but since these new self brand generators they are horrible..it’s a Canada company owned by another corporate company that has no contact, customer service or support only redirects you to local 3rd party reseller who won’t do anything but charge you money. Buyer Beware

Please be careful and understand Lowe’s return policy when you purchase any major appliance at Lowes. It is 48 hours and not a minute longer. For B&S portable generator, I was unable to get it to start out of the box. Unfortunately, I waited 7 days to return it as I was busy and unaware of the return policy. Garbage

The two outlets worked for a day, now only one works and the other only last a good second before the breaker trips (Without anything plugged in at all mind you). I've reset every switch, I've reset every breaker, only one outlet works now. Garbage. I changed the oil after the 5 hour break in period like the owner manual said too.... Thing is donezo.

Highly desired product in west central Florida during the power outages following the passage of Hurricane Milton. Purchased the generator on the Saturday night before the storm, and glad I did. Easy assembly and operation for those with little knowledge of machinery. The digital readout allowed better understanding of the capabilities. Would Not Work

Bought this model before the storm. Took forever to start and then it wouldn't accept a load. It would not handle any appliance one at a time. Very disappointed since I bought the same model a few years back but gave it to my elderly mother in law. That one worked perfect.

Gets 11 hours on one full tank

Very easy to use. Enough power to run my fridge, portable ac, lamp, tv, and phone chargers.

Issues

Problems from the beginning. We finally broke down and purchased a generator for Hurricane Milton and it wouldn't even power our main fridge. We plugged in only that appliance and every 5-7 minutes the GFI on it tripped and shut off the fridge. It was also very difficult to pull start.

Built extremely solid and sturdy. Well designed supported with a Briggs and Stratton quality engine.

Solid and reliable portable home generator

B&S engines have a reputation for quality engines and this does not disappoint. It was easy to unbox and start-up. I have run it so far for about 24 hours and it has not stopped once. I did change the oil after the first 5 hours and it is running well. The only minor issue I would have is that the generator is a little louder than other portable generators I have had, but still a nice buy for the price!
