Worked like a champ
Would RecommendI always say, I’d rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. That was definately the case here. It was very easy to set up and it started right up on the first pull. With the 8 gal fuel tank it ran for about 12 hours at 75% capacity. I was running two heaters, my fridge and chest freezer as well as my hot/cold water cooler. I could of easily added another heater or even the microwave or crock pot for cooking.
Online order of a dryer.
Would RecommendI used online chat and they pointed me to Customer Service where I received great, prompt, knowledgeable and professional customer service. I ordered the dryer on a Sunday and it was delivered on Tuesday, I am in love with my Samsung 7,4 cubic ft dryer. It is wonderful and looks great with the matching washing machine I purchased 6 weeks earlier. And is easy to use.

The best generator
Would RecommendThis is the best generator I’ve ever had. It can power well over what it shows.
IS NOT EASY OR RELIABLE
Would Not RecommendI bought this generator during the cold front that hit, worked great for the 2 days I needed it. Today we had a power pole break and it took out power in the neighborhood, so I decided to hook it up to get it ready and test it. Doesn't turn on. Brand FREAKING new and doesn't turn on. Did nothing different than 2 weeks ago. Cleaned out the Carburetor, no clogs, fuel line is good, fuel is going into where it needs to go, Air Filter is still brand FREAKING new. NOTHING I did changed from last time ...
Powered my whole house.
Would RecommendI have gas appliances and my house is 1300 sq ft. I bought this generator for hurricanes since I live on the TX gulf coast. I’m able to run my central air conditioner, refrigerator/freezer inside and deep freezer in garage, and lights inside at 65% load. During the hard freeze/power outages, I ran my whole house, and gas furnace like normal and never went over 35% load. Burned 10 gallons of gas in 20 hrs. Be sure to use fuel stabilizer for storage. It took me awhile to start it after storing for...
Saved Us From The Texas Snowmageddon 2021
Would RecommendThe Briggs & Stratton Storm Responder 6250-Watt Gasoline Portable Generator is a good choice for an emergency generator. It is a medium/heavy duty pull start generator in my opinion because you can get 10,000-12,000 Watt whole house portables for similar pricing but the Responder will surprise you 6250 watts constant/8500 watts startup. I was able to run two space heaters, a side by side refrigerator, two 65 inch flat screen televisions, a Ninja Foodi toaster oven during the one hour on/one ho...
had 5500 running watts going, could not keep up
Would Not Recommendcould only run for about 4 hours. had a total of max 5545 running wats going at a single time. kept tripping the breakers and generator could not keep up. I'm sure it would be great for 4000 or less. but it could not keep up with the load I safely had given it. will be returning this generator as I've bought one im positive will run my appliances without an issue. During a difficult time like we just had. the last thing I need is to worry about my backup plan...
Saved the day(s)!
Would RecommendBought a couple years ago after a hurricane, but used for the first time this week when we lost power for 4 days due to ice storm. ran fridge, lights, outlets, microwave, 240 pump for water, electric hot water heater, TVs, satellite dish, and probably could have done more - ran perfectly without a hitch. Very pleased. Neighbor has same generator and was equally pleased. It is loud, buy that's pretty much expected.
24 hour run without a blip.
Would RecommendThis is an emergency back up unit for me. Bought it a couple of years ago for a hurricane and never had to use. Did use once for about an hour for power outage. Now comes the Texas power blackouts and I had to run it for 24 hours straight. Worked like a champ. Ran a couple of small heaters, fridges, lamp, kept my phones and laptop charged and even small items on 100 foot extension. Estimate about 1/2 gallon per hour. Does the job for me. Might even add second unit to run ac for a summer emergenc...
Damaged in Packaging
Bought this generator back in August and thankfully did not end up needing it. Generator has been stored in our garage in the original packaging since. I opened it up today due to the winter storm hitting Texas and come to find it has a huge dent on the motor. The handle that folds out for moving the generator locks into place so I do not understand how this damage could have occurred during transportation, it seems this would have come straight from the manufacturer. Anything that would have hi...
Genuine Junk!!!
Would Not RecommendBought this because Lowe’s happened to be the only place in town that had a generator in stock during ice storm power outages, got it home set everything up and worked flawlessly for about 4 hrs. Did all things you should, checked oil levels before starting, started it with no load. At the 4 hr mark I noticed that the o ring around the dipstick was pinched out and oil was bubbling out around it, shut it down and topped off the oil, then restarted. At the 7 hr mark the slight bubbling turned int...
Home standby generator
Would RecommendI purchased this Briggs & Stratton Storm Responder 6250-Watt Gasoline Portable Generator because we normally lose power during the winter months. I had an electrician connect a power cable to our breaker box so we can run the generator in our open carport so we don't have to worry about carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide getting into the house. We tried the generator last weekend and it was able to power the well pump with the 240 volt power and also the house with the 120 volt power with no pr...

Tough little bugger that runs and runs and runs!
Would RecommendSolid generator with plenty of power. We recently moved to a home in a heavily treed neighborhood with above ground electric service. Power outages occur too frequently from branches coming down on wires and from freezing rain. Two long outages in December drove me to buy a generator- something I never thought I'd need or buy. Within days of buying it, another outage. But this time we were ready. We ran power to two refrigerator freezers and two upright freezers (we're storing two of them ...
