Jig Saw I wanted

I have been looking at jig saws for over 5 years, and each time I have the extra money all the reviews point toward Bosch - they were correct! Great Saw, which should last a very long time.

I love it!

I often work on sets at our local theatreand this jigsaw is just the best. Cuts through wood like butter. Very easy to manuver. Also very easy to change the blade. If youre thinking about getting one of these, I definitely recommend it.

Love it the blade sets further under it Machine cast a shadow on it it really needs an LED

Bought this to replace an old saw. Needed to work on 2x12.worked great. Great power. Went through like butter.

Amazing jigsaw

I love it! So easy to use. Smooth! Very well built. Only negative is it is a bit heavy but it's worth it!

Fantastic jigsaw, poor accessory

I used this along with the Bosch parallel/circle cutting jig to cut some circles out of 1/2" ply. The saw works extremely well, the blade release mechanism works flawlessly, so much better than my old Porter Cable. The circle cutting jig is a piece of junk. Hard to adjust to get a specific radius, and way overpriced.

Another Great Bosch tool!!

This is my second Bosch jig saw. The only reason I purchased it was because of the first one I have (also a Bosch) developed problems cutting straight. But it is 15 years old!!! Which is a remarkable for a power tool. I did not hesitate to buy a Bosch again. This jig saw is even better then the first because of the 7.0 amps and the easy change blade!! The blade speed control and other features are just outstanding. Great job Bosch!!

Best Jig Saw

My 4th Jig Saw and is the best by far. Powerful but easy to guide for detailed and precise cuts. I've been cutting wine barrels for furniture and accessories and they are right at 1" thick. Incredibly easy to cut.

Smooth and powerful!

I bought this saw to cut out woodworking jigs. It is smooth and powerful. Easy to hold.

Great jigsaw

This saw is so much better than my 20yr old one. Cuts like butter.

Almost great

The saw itself is solid and works great. The missing feature is a strobing LED to freeze the blade position and it has poor dust collection when you get the sold separately accessory. The front window can be a bit difficult to put on and often gets covered because of the direction of the puffer and dust collection ports. Since you can get $20 jig saws with an LED lite a saw at this price level should definitely include one. I seldom use the aggressive fore and aft cutting action as I want better...

Very powerful Cutting

Very happy I bought it. My previous jigsaw was battery powered and this one is much more powerful and easy to use.

Great Jig Saw - 1 minor request

I bought this saw to use in a college theater shop. I love it. I can cut 3/4 play or 1/4 luan. Actually, I can hold the luan on it's side and cut it in the air. A great addition to our shop. One small detail. I really, really wish it had a light so I could easily see where the blade touches the wood.

Good Quality

Owned a DeWalt for years. Very glad that I switched to your product. Excellent overall, can't find anything wrong with it. And I have put it to the test!

It's Solid

I haven't had a chance to use it too much yet but my initial impression is very positive. It has some weight to it and I like that in a jig saw to keep things steady. When looking at different models this one seemed to have a heaftier blade release/retention lever. It has a much longer cord than my previous jig saws which is nice. Adjustment knobs are convenient. I may add more once I've had the chance to run it through some different materials.

Rugged and Powerful Saw

Without using this jigsaw extensively yet, I can attest to the power, speed control and overall solid feel to this tool. I would give it five stars but were it not for the overall heavy weight, lack of guide or laser and edge/circle cutter accessory. I can live without a laser guide, but it would be a nice addition. Holding and starting the heavy saw is somewhat awkward but I am getting used to it. As far as the circle cutter, I am unimpressed with the cheap construction and inaccuracy, yet ...

A Very Handy Tool

I bought this to replace one that was more than 20 years old. It was a great idea. I really like the quick blade change feature. It is powerful and very easy to control.
