Great Features

I bought my Bosch jigsaw last month. Wow am I impressed with it. Cuts so nice, enjoy the dust blower keeping my lines visible, all the other features are really great too. I will mention it is a little heavy but only if you have to hold it up for very long. Really happy I bought this one.

A Very Capable Tool

I received this 02/10/2019, and got a chance to use it a few days later. I also bought a good selection of blades for all purposes, as my work in the shop covers a broad range of materials. So far I've used it on 1/2" plywood, and 16 gauge mild steel so far, and it has no problem with either. For years I have "gotten by" with cheaper, inferior jig saws that lacked power and would bog down when cutting metal and thick wood. With an upcoming boat refurb project soon to begin, I knew I needed a saw that could handle not only the materials I would be cutting, but the sheer amount as well. Best experience with a jig saw thus far

this is my third Jig Saw - First a lower priced company, then a Bosch. I didn't like the blade change procedure of that Bosch and wanted a more powerful saw. I researched a few top brands and settled on Bosch as they have always been good tools. Boy, am I glad I did. Straighter cuts, 90 degree cuts, less vibration, better weight distribution - so much great to say. I cut 1/8 ply and 8/4 mahogany with a long blade - all cuts were great. Another fantastic Bosch product.

this is a great saw , works much better than the skill I was using befor only used twice so far , but am happy with it for now, just think could be a lot better waranty period , like maybe three years instead of one ? or five years , would better match the high price ??

Top rated jigsaw

This is the top rated corded jigsaw so my opinion isn’t Worth much. I do love it. It’s a little heavy but has great power. Lowe’s has a competitive price with the Lowe’s card discount so I bought it locally.

Exceeded my expectations!

Bought this earlier this week and used it to cut a hole in the top of a sewing center cabinet that I'm building. The tool worked flawlessly, it was easy to control and required almost no effort on my part. One of the best tool purchases I have ever made!

Love this jigsaw

Very smooth and built solidly. The power is very surprising; cut through a 3" walnut slab without flinching.

Powerful & Reliable

I bought this saw to replace and older jigsaw I've had for years. I had an upcoming project with lots of angle cuts that I couldn't do on a band saw. The Bosch jigsaw cut through the thick material with ease. With the variable speed you can adjust the speed so you don't leave burn marks on your project. Good but not great

Owned this saw, well it and a replacement, for about 2 years. The first saw wouldn’t turn on after using it about a dozen times. I had it for more than 30 days so my local Lowe’s told me to go pound sand (IMO Lowe’s here has very poor management). I contacted Bosch and got a hold of the first line of defense who was no help. Finally got to a tech who told me this was a common problem with the new safety switch and the cost to fix it would be $90 per hour plus $40 shipping. I would have to pay ...

Great Jigsaw

I bought this product after using the same one at work, love the keyless chuck and ease of use. Cuts great and good visibility when making cuts.

Bosch 7 amp

I bought this to replace the latest the wall jigsaw that I had which broke after a few uses the truck changing component snapped off. The Bosch has been easier to use and more powerful than the Dewalt I would recommend this to any wood worker or a construction worker

Dependable

I always trust Bosch. The tools last and I can rely on it.

So far it doing well, bought it to replace a very old Bosch that I can't even find parts for. Would love to have it repaired. The JS470E is the workhorse now helping me finish a 22' x 24' TREK deck. Blades gum up but the saw powers through. A good addition to the tool chest. Bought it because the construction crew at work uses theirs to cut through 2"x 24" x 24" steel floor tile for the clean room. It the only brand that would last on the job.

I had an old Craftsman sabre saw. I had a table top of 3/4" plywood veneer to cut into a pattern (1920s). My saw burned the wood and wouldn't do the job. This saw is incredible. Powerful Cutting

Just purchased for wooding projects. Set cut speed to Max and cut 2 6 in. circles. No problems. Works great.

Awesome Jigsaw

Pricey but well worth the investment. The only thing that could make this tool better is a dust port.
