Just great!

I have a 40 year old circular saw that has 'worked' for me all these years but I had a project that involved a lot of circular saw use so I shopped around. Read reviews, looked at what the pro s use, handled a lot of saws (in this price range). Decided on the CS-10. I have just used it intensively for 2 days now- and wished I had bought it years ago. Just a dream. Lighter than my old saw (6 amp), much more powerful and all the controls really work. Other name brand saws had really poor controls...

To much plastic

I bought this saw 3 months ago to add another saw to my collection. I have never bought Bosch before so I thought I would give it a try. I frame houses and been doing so for 25 years..I bought this saw because of its light weight ,but in doing so I never realized that the the plastic parts wear out so quickly..I use circular saws all day almost everyday and this saw doesn't hold up to everyday use..The blade adjustment height lever wore out after 3 months, so I went online and bought another lev...

Good saw

Does what it’s told. May be a tad heavy on the scale of circular saws but it’s worth it.

Saw shift

After 20 years of excellent service with a Bosch table saw I decided to purchase a Bosch ( hand-held) circular Saw. Previously owned a Makita circular saw ....and just wore it out. Looking forward to using the Bosch.

Made it through the first cut just fine...

then I started the second cut. Saw bound up a little and then the blade stopped like it hit cement. Turned out that the blade binding caused the nut that holds the blade on to tighten the inner spacer washer right through the plastic washer on top of the arbor. End of cutting for that saw. Bosch needs to use a better material for that inner part or this could happen at any time. Three stars because Lowes is absolutely the best when something goes wrong and it must be returned. Had my eye on this one for months and finally snagged it while on sale. Definitely worth the money! Love Bosch products.

this saw really isnt that good. i had a dewalt that i used for most of the jobs were i needed a circular saw. one job i was on a roof and it fell 2 stories and bent the bace plate so its not true. i went out and bought this saw and started using it. it sounds really weird when you pull the triger sounds really weak. its also really easy for the blade to stop with this saw. it feels like the motor is like a little 8 amp motor. it just dosnt have the power to cut efficently like the dewalt did. al...

Good value for the money

Replaces a 25 year old Black and Decker saw that started to smoke and burn up in protest, so could anything be worse?

Quality

This saw had all the features I wanted. I really like the depth markers and catch slots for them. They make adjustments fast easy and accurate.

Great saw!

This saw replaced an older Skil saw. Used the saw as a primary tool on a large deck rebuild. Like everything about it. Light weight, super powerful with clean cuts. Cut stair stringers from very green, very moisture heavy 2x12s with no hesitation and not a single bind. Highly recommend!!!

Bosch circular saw

Easy to use, cuts like butter, best circular saw I have owned. Glad my wife spent the extra and purchased the better quality saw then we were replacing. I have used it several times since purchasing it and it really is smooth.

Bosch saw

Checked out a number of saws and chose this saw because of the ease of setting cut depth and angle cut.Out of the box 90 and 45 cuts were exact.Saw has plenty of power.Nice carry bag.Would have given 5 star rating if they had included an edge guide.

Good features

I bought this saw to replace my older Dewalt mainly because it felt good in my hands compared to others. I like the way it cuts and handles. The only thing I do not like is the depth lock as it does not tighten well enough. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.
