What Customers Are Saying
This fiberglass resin product has mixed reviews. Some customers reported issues with the resin not curing or hardening properly, even when following instructions. Others mentioned the resin becoming tacky and gumming up sandpaper, or running and ruining surrounding surfaces. However, many customers who properly prepared the surfaces and mixed the resin and hardener according to instructions had successful results, finding the resin easy to work with and producing strong, durable repairs. Overall, this product requires careful attention to mixing and application to achieve the desired results, but can be an effective fiberglass repair solution when used correctly.

Fix crack in tub
I bought fiberglass cloth, and bondo resin. I did everything by the book and it looked good. The resin never harden all the way. Waited almost 2 days before I took the cloth up, which was easily done with a putty knife. I tried it again an added a couple extra drops of hardener. It looked good. The resin never got all the way hard. I fiberglassed boats before and never had this much trouble. It's still tacky on day 2. Bought at lowes home improvement 9/16/2019. First used on 9-18/2019 again on 9/...
Used the Bondo putty to fill in the voids in the grab rails that resulted from removing the thru-bolts. Then I fiberglassed them before applying a coat of marine paint.

Countless uses for this product
I typically use a cardboard beverage can flat as a disposable tray to mix and transport the resin, and I always have a few pairs of disposable gloves handy. The resin sticks to everything so use a little care with application. Vinegar can be used for clean-up as a replacement for the usual acetone.

Mixing issues
Would RecommendA little tough to get the exact right ratio of epoxy and hardener, but it works well.

works but inconsistent bad batches
Would Recommendworks great when it works but i've found results vary from one can with hardener to the next. i think the hardener can go bad and some cans it may take days to harden despite using as indicated.

Bondo fiberglass kit
Would RecommendThis was the easiest fiberglass job I’ve ever done. Quick and easy and extremely strong as I was repairing a turtle shell that had been run over by a car. The hole is now covered with a strong fiberglass patch, ready for painting by my artistic daughter Danielle.

Fiberglass resin
Would RecommendI particularly like hos product because he specific resin/setter ratio was on the can since I haven't worked with fiberglass in a long time and when I did the resin was mixed by someone else.
