What Customers Are Saying
This fiberglass resin product has mixed reviews. Some customers reported issues with the resin not curing or hardening properly, even when following instructions. Others mentioned the resin becoming tacky and gumming up sandpaper, or running and ruining surrounding surfaces. However, many customers who properly prepared the surfaces and mixed the resin and hardener according to instructions had successful results, finding the resin easy to work with and producing strong, durable repairs. Overall, this product requires careful attention to mixing and application to achieve the desired results, but can be an effective fiberglass repair solution when used correctly.

Pond waterfall
Would RecommendI bought Bondo to make a 6 inch 10 inch catch basin for a diy pond waterfall. I used cardboard as the form and all went perfectly. Preparation is the key to get it done well and the product you use is paramount. This product worked perfectly. The waterfall runs 24/7 yet has no leaks. I have another waterfall project pending and will be using Bondo again.

Read ads carefully
Would Not RecommendVery dissatisfied. Had to order 3 times. First 2 had loose caps and resin leaked out making a mess. Can't believe person who picked item didn't care it was leaking and processed it anyway. My major complaint is misadvertising. Product is advertised as 32 ounces but comes in a can marked 28.8 ounces. I called Lowe's and reported it but ad is still the same. The gallon can is also misrepresented.

Why is the smaller container different from the ga
Would Not RecommendI've bought and use around six gallons of this fiberglass resin to make two bumpers and started on a center console. Your gallon resin works incredibly well, but I only needed about a quarter to finish the console that I'm working on, but this stuff is garbage. I applied it with the correct mixture of resin to hardener and it didn't come close to setting after 2 hours. Next I mixed twice the amount of hardener, waited and it still did not set. Now I have to buy a gallon for a quarts worth of wor...

Never Dries
Would Not RecommendI was using this to coat a wood fixture for equipment in the engine room of a boat. Opened the package and the activator for the resin has leaked on to the top of the can. Not a big deal, just annoying as long as there was enough activator for the resin. There seemed to be. I mixed two batches within about a half hour of each other. Read the instructions online at Bondo's site because the print is small and all I could find was the health warnings. I even added a couple extra drops of acti...

Missing info
Would Not RecommendWhen the kit was ordered I took it for granted it was a complete kit had everything but the mesh, so from stand point it was not a complete “ kit”

Application of product
Would RecommendUsed to patch a small hole in a fiber glassed wooden lath canoe. Applied the first layer with the glass. After that dried applied a second top coat. 'Worked perfectly. Couldn't get a photo to transfer. I could send anyone interested a photo.

Missing item
Would RecommendI picked up my order and when I went to use it the harder was missing from under the plastic top. Now, is the resin going to work without the hardener?
Fountain repair
Would RecommendWe had a fountain that sprung a leak. I had some fiberglass cloth all I needed was resin. Combining the two took care of the fountain leak. An improvement could be a better way to measure proportions especially with the hardener, maybe just marks on the tube.
