What Customers Are Saying
This fiberglass resin product has mixed reviews. Some customers reported issues with the resin not curing or hardening properly, even when following instructions. Others mentioned the resin becoming tacky and gumming up sandpaper, or running and ruining surrounding surfaces. However, many customers who properly prepared the surfaces and mixed the resin and hardener according to instructions had successful results, finding the resin easy to work with and producing strong, durable repairs. Overall, this product requires careful attention to mixing and application to achieve the desired results, but can be an effective fiberglass repair solution when used correctly.

Would RecommendJust applied this to a 5 year old fiber glass ladder. No patches just the application, and it took away the squeaking. The ladder no longer flexes. It has strengthened it again.

A great all-around polyester resin.
Would RecommendIf you really need great adhesion to smoother surfaces, I'd suggest epoxy resin. But if you can rough-up the surfaces, are working over old fiberglass or previous layers, this stuff is great. Measure the hardener carefully and adjust the quantity to your application. I mix 4-6 oz resin with 8-9 drops hardener at 80-90 degrees F and it begins to gel in about 15 minutes. I'm building water tanks for a RV van project. I'm using this resin with cloth and mat to attach and seal FRP sheets.

Good quality stuff
Would RecommendI work a lot with car audio, and fabricating different panels and enclosures inside vehicles. While not the cheapest option out there for this application, it definitely gets the job done. Easy to work with when you mix it correctly with included hardener, and is consistently strong when coupled with a fiberous material or fiberglass cloth/strand. Easily sanded after a few hours. Good for large projects like mine or small fixes.
