What Customers Are Saying
This fiberglass resin product has mixed reviews. Some customers reported issues with the resin not curing or hardening properly, even when following instructions. Others mentioned the resin becoming tacky and gumming up sandpaper, or running and ruining surrounding surfaces. However, many customers who properly prepared the surfaces and mixed the resin and hardener according to instructions had successful results, finding the resin easy to work with and producing strong, durable repairs. Overall, this product requires careful attention to mixing and application to achieve the desired results, but can be an effective fiberglass repair solution when used correctly.

This product is amazing!
After going through five cans and spending nearly $100 on flex and leak seal I went this route. If you are considering a spray seal, think again. They don't work. I had a small leak in my fountain, so small I couldn't see it. The water going down in one day and wet ground underneath was the only indicator. I coated the inside with flex seal and nothing. I then used leak seal on the outside and still no difference. I applied this fiberglass resin and that was the ticket. It completely sealed the ...

Don't mix it all at once for a big job! It will harden in 30 seconds! Lol
Not for artwork
Would Not RecommendI wanted to make a resin cover for handpainted trays I'm making and it just did not adhere evenly, some shriveled as it dries away from the edges of the tray, and there are areas where it was so thin it doesn't seem to even be there: I'm definitely going to have to sand it but am worrying about sanding my actual painting bc the application did not self-level as I'd been told it would. I did paint the underlayer first before pouring the resin evenly around.
Not what I'd hoped
Would Not RecommendI was excited to try this to seal a concrete pond waterfall. I am an avid DIY-er and believed this would be the answer to my problems. Turns out, I was in WAY over my head. The two part epoxy is sooo hard to work with. The fiber cloth had holes in it where it separated slightly between the weave. Cloth in general is filled with holes, so I did not think it would be such a problem. The epoxy did well on the cloth that had consistent weave, but would not fill the small (almost pin like) holes in t...
Works good, but smells
Would RecommendI used the Bondo fiberglass resin to fix a big hole in my boat. This stuff works just fine, but it really has a chemical smell. Most of these fiberglass resin do have a chemical smell though.

Did the job of filling a wood cavity
Would RecommendWorked OK as per instructions. It has a strong odor. Also, the hardener is a very small tube and it makes it difficult to set the small amounts needed for each application. It is not easy for most of us to measure and mix very small amounts of a thick liquid, fortunately it seemed to harden OK in each application. It would have been much easier if the hardener had more volume, mixing would have been less critical. Also would have been easier if it was smaller... then it could have been measured ...
