It only took a couple of hours for two people to assemble and we were quickly enjoying some gentle shade and a very classy addition to our happy space

Quality Product

When looking to add additional shade to our Florida home, we wanted something that offered shade, stability and was also aesthetically pleasing. We are very pleased with our decision to install this pergola. When we started to assemble the pieces we were surprised at the quality of the construction. It’s been up a few months now and we love it.

The 12 x 16 Hawthorne, ease of assembly

Just a quick note that while searching for a 12x16 pergola, I came across the Hawthorne design and found the price very competitive. I live in West Virginia so I wanted the steel rather than a vinyl due to varying weather conditions. I had questions, and your customer service was prompt and knowledgeable. Excellent product - couldn't be happier!

We ordered this pergola for our backyard to go over our hot tub. It arrived more quickly than I anticipated, and in perfect condition. Having assembled many different things, I knew what to expect but.....no parts missing, no scratches or dents, instructions included, instructions were understandable, no missing holes or ill fitting parts. It was perfect in every way! We truly could not be happier and would recommend this to anyone.

This pergola is exactly what we needed for our very sunny backyard! The inside cover works great for sunny days! It was fairly straight forward to put together also!

The fact that it's steel very low maintenance..

We have had many people asked about this and were surprised that it is steel, not wood! We have recommended everyone to go with this as we live in hot Arizona, don't have to repaint it every year! We love it! Makes our yard look inviting!

Nicely finished metal Pergola kit

I bought this for a patio in my back yard. I wanted it to be the same height as my roof on my house and shop, so I built concrete columns on which to erect the pergola, covered in stone veneer (see pictures). Visiting Sam’s Club, I saw a wooden pergola and asked the associate if they came in different materials, colors, and sizes. Just WOW!

I bought the 12X10 Ashford steel pergola and am so happy I did! I hesitated on the steel vs wood but once it got built, I knew I made the right choice! It is beautiful! Assembly was easy and everything went together with no issues. Other than a few minor scratches (touch up paint is on the way) there wasn’t any missing or damaged parts. Beautiful Party or Relaxation Place

I love this maintenance free pergola. I can sit in my hot tub and watch TV. It is super sturdy with no trouble withstanding our high wind storms. Husband and 2 others were able to put it together in one day. I think it adds to my property value. Would buy metal pergola over the wood as it is so maintenance free. What a great addition to my patio!

14x10 Hawthorne Pergola

Purchased last summer after months of searching. This one is exactly what we wanted, beautiful finish and look, and super sturdy. I put it together myself in about 8 hours, but would have been easier with a second person. Get loads of complements from guests. Love it!

Perfection

Bought my pergola a year ago. This will be our second summer with it. It arrived ahead of schedule in 4 boxes. I was surprised at the condition of the boxes coming across country but they were in great shape. All parts were included. We took one day to open the boxes and lay out the pieces. Beautiful design and easy to assemble.

We bought this pergola as a replacement for a "big box store" pergola that we had for several years. The difference is design, quality, ease of assemble and customer service is amazing. We upgraded to a bigger size than we had. The canopy is a much better design than the drape over models. Very happy with the purchase and are considering an attached pergola for our back porch.

Love my new backyard!

The pergola is a beautiful addition to our backyard. The crew of three that built our deck put it together in a few hours, they said it was the easiest pergola they have built and that it was the only one that they have built that wasn't missing parts and wasn't broken or dented upon arrival. Plenty of room for a sofa, loveseat, chairs, and a fire table. Can't wait to enjoy our outdoor living area this year.
