Great so far!

My 13 year old son and I were able to put this together a couple days. I love the way it turned out. Hopefully the steel will hole up in the Florida weather.

This was very easy to assemble. All of the holes were in the right place and the fasteners were easy to install. Great quality.

Great pergola, sail shade needs some extra help.

We have assembled several gazebos over the past few years and this one was by far the easiest to put together. The sail shade is nice, though we did have to add some grommets around the eege to help secure it down with bungee cords- the wind kept blowing it off. The buckle straps it comes with are pretty slick and slide out of the buckles pretty easily. It's perfect now though! Couldn't be happier.

Beautiful

Love it… very strong. We had no issues with putting it together and no parts missing or damaged. Only issue… canopy flew off so not tight enough… have to adjust it or get another one at some point.

Pergola added so much to patio

I ordered this pergola and had a handyman put it up for me. I’ll start by saying the customer service is wonderful and was delivered on time. The handyman had it up in one day and said was easy to assemble. The pergola is nice and sturdy and added an inviting look to our back patio. I feel this will last for many years to come and being a galvanized steel will be maintenance free, no painting or treating as you would need to with wood. Simple and Nice

I purchased this pergola because of all the good reviews. They are all true. This was such an easy assembly. Two people and we had it done in 4 hours. Instructions are easy to follow and EVERYTHING is labeled. Thanks for such a great product

Seemed difficult to put together but once we got going it went very well. Took two people about 7 hours. It is beautiful and perfect for our area! Excellent quality

Pergola was everything they said it would be. It is absolutely beautiful and I’m getting so many compliments about how it has changed my backyard area. It is very sturdy and easy to put together. I had 2 damaged pieces during shipment and they had them replaced within 3 days with no questions asked.

Absolutely beautiful and extremely well built

We purchased and received the Backyard Discovery Pergola in July 2022. Pergola arrived in 4 boxes, excellent packaging and delivery. We unpacked and preassembled the Pergola to ensure all pieces were shipped prior to actual assembly. The assembly took 2 men and only 5 hours to complete! We love, love the Pergola, very beautiful addition to our back yard.

Well built and nice looking pergolas

The pergola is sturdy and well designed in my opinion. Easy to assemble if you follow the good instructions. Customer service is outstanding as I damaged a couple parts and they sent me replacements at no charge. Brad was awesome when I called in. When I told him I had an accident with the assembly, first thing he asked was, "is everyone ok?". Hawthorne 12 x 10 steel pergola in white

Solid well made product. Installer mounted it in concrete footers on paver brick patio and commented on the good construction of the product. Looks great and included shade and box with electric and usb outlets a nice bonus. Have received many compliments about the pergola. Well worth the price. Highly recommend.

Lots of parts and screws, but it went together very easily. Had my wife assist me and we had it up in a couple of days and it looks great. Would recommend to anyone thinking of buying a pergola.

What an awesome product! Neatly shipped, no damages, all labeled. All lined up perfectly. Only needed the help of 1 other person for short periods. Can be done in 4-5 hours!

Black steel pergola

Excellent product. Very sturdy. As per prior comments, the shade is not very sturdy and in the hot central valley of California, it will probably not last more than the 2 years indicated in the paperwork. Also it does not fully cover the top, however sufficient for the time being. Have not yet attached the power pack but based on the quality of the pergola, would not expect it to be anything but very good.

I put all most of the parts together and laid them out on a snowmobile trailer. Then my wife and I put it up one day. Just two mid 60 year olds. Everyone that has seen it loves it . My only complaint is that the shade sail wants to curl up in between the corner tie downs. Love the no maintenance !!’

Pergola is beautiful, the canopy is terrible.

The canopy cover is nothing like the description or the picture. It describes it as a soft canopy cover and looks black. It is gray, thick, bulky, and is very small. There is a gap of about 18 inches on all four sides, and it just does not look right. When I compare it to the pictures, it is way off. The pergola itself is beautiful, we are just disappointed with the canopy top. Need to figure out how to contact the company to see if there is anything that can be done.
