Ratings & Reviews for Backyard Discovery Canyon Creek Residential Wood Playset

Wood is poor quality

The quality of the wood is horrible! We’ve had it for 1 month and I can’t see this lasting years. I’m pretty sure my 26lb toddler could tear this apart. - The wood has splintered and cracked in so many places. - The plastic on the slide is bowed out. (This is how it was delivered to us) - The windows are the cheapest, thinnest plastic and they are just stapled on. - The swings are too close together, the kids are bumping elbows while swinging. - We had to add additional brackets to stabilize...

Kids love it

I purchased this for my grand children they really love it . Was not to difficult to assemble but did take some time . Only had one bad panel window in wrong location used it anyway

Tremendous value. Tremendous fun!

We purchased this set a month ago just before a large family party. All the kids loved it and played outside on it all afternoon. It is of high quality and is very stable. The different play areas all children of various ages to play and not be bored. We substituted an infant swing and our 9 month old grandson enjoys it too and he will grow in to it and enjoy it for years to come..

Perfect Playset

We have a 2 and 4 year old and they love it! Such a cute little picnic and grill area underneath. Seems very sturdy and is the best looking playset I've seen.

Great purchase. Grandkids love it.

We bought the Canyon Creek playset for our grandkids. They absolutely love it. It arrived in two boxes and one slide. It took about 8 hours to put together. Was not hard to put together, just a lot of pieces. We would absolutely recommend this product.

My 2.5 year old loves it!

My little boy loves his new Playset. ❤️❤️ We had a smooth delivery, with two long boxes and a slide. It took roughly two full Saturdays w/ two people to build as it had 90ish pages of instructions to go through. We love all the features this play-set has, from the kitchen, to the climbing wall, chalkboard, telescope, wheel, swings and slide. I know he’s going to love this for years too come! Thank you! 😎

Wonderful playset!

Bought this playset for my grandkids - they love it! Assembly took a full day with 3 people (after organizing all parts). Beautiful addition to the backyard!

Great quality

I haven’t gotten it yet. It’s been 3 weeks

Endless fun!

We surprised our almost 3 year old daughter with this set and she is in love! She’s obsessed with the “spider web” swing at the moment, but really enjoys all of the other features this set has to offer. A couple of her friends and cousins came over to play and it held up nicely. It’s not one of BYD’s larger sets, however it’s the perfect size for our small backyard. Installation was a breeze with the BILT app and an extra hand. Totally recommend starting by sorting all of the parts in order ...

Clueless

Ordered play set for kids,Easy to order showed shipped quickly,But nothing and all web will say is it shipped,Poor tracking and communication.

easy as that.

This is the best directions ive ever seen. It wentthrough step by step. Every nut and bolt. Couldnt have came out any better.

Missing parts

Missing one piece, K9 calling Lowe's and there was a 30 min. wait time. Going to look up this company and call them to see if the can get the 1 needed piece out here. Not happy about this situation.

One excited 5 year old

We just got this swingset and our 5 year old is so thrilled! Like other reviewers, the spaces feel a bit smaller than I might’ve expected, but for small children it’s great. My daughter is already making up imaginative games to play on it. The slide is fun and fast, and the round swing is very fun. We hired a contractor to build it and are glad we did, as it took him 3 days.

Looks nice but worried it won’t hold up

There is no finish on the wood and already looks weathered. Some boards came warped and the wood is soft and split many times when securing with the screws and bolts. Disappointed for the amount of money. I’ll be adding a finish to protect the wood and imagine I’ll have to do this every year to make sure it holds up.

Missing pieces or damaged pieces

We have multiple pieces that were cracked and warped. We have multiple missing pieces

decent, should be cheaper though.

2 of the structural boards were split right out of the box. Several boards were severely warped. Not hard to build using the bilt app. Overall, a decent playset, just overpriced for the low quality of wood.

Grandkids

Time consuming but worth it· Was missing 2 inch screws
