Stopped working

Switched the batteries in the unit and won’t turn on now. Very disappointed

Cold In Kentucky!

Gas logs look great but the electronic controller and or the electronic transmitter didn't. work when I tried to set them up. Talked to the company,allen+roth and they still have not sent me the replacement.parts for my new logs ! Hope I get the parts before summer!

Disappointing, but great when they work

Bought these logs to replace an ancient set in our home. Installation wasnt bad. Logs worked beautifully for 2 weeks. set remote to 70 and logs came on and off perfectly. Room was toasty. Replaced batteries in the remote and it now looks like this, so can't use the thermo setting because we can't tell what thw temperature is on the screen to set it. Was so pleased with our logs initially that we bought a set for an elderly neighbor. Unbelieveably, her remote receiver stopped working after 2 we...

Fireplace log set

I have only had this installed about a week so far. Seems to be working fine. Only issue I have is every time it comes on and lights it is a loud click noise when it ignites. Just very annoying and will wake the baby up when sleeping.

Turns itself off all the time! Do not buy!

We got this to actually heat up our living room but it determines when to shut off based off of its thermostat. So even if I feel cold still, the fire shuts off automatically.

Does the job but the real fire look not so good

Doesn’t glow enough like wood burning , I’ve seen others where even the lava on the floor glows like smoldering wood ash , also the logs don’t absorb and help throw off heat or glow either . The unit does work fine to help take the chill out the room

The packing was great everthing intact.

A little difficult to set up. Once together looks good in fireplace with nice flame. Can adjust the temperature.

The gas log would turn on & off. That was really scary. I had it removed and I'm returning it tomorrow.

Will Not Light

Despite having a professional plumber installing the product, it would not light. From the reviews here, I am not the only one to have this problem. Returning product.

Good product for the price.

Excellent product for the price. A bit complicated to install since instructions are very detailed but shouldn't be a problem if your installer has any pre-experience in this sort of installation. The system has a toggle-type on/off switch that can be placed to the side of fireplace for EASY operation as long as pilot light is kept on. Really no need for additional remote that also is included. Really happy with this purchase.
