Great looking and good price

This came quickly, looks great and had a competitive price. Our gas company installed and set up. I love that it can be used even when the electric goes out.

Double check

Initially, I had written a 1-star review for these logs. The flame was underwhelming and barely any heat. And because it took the installer 4 months to appear (overworked and understaffed due to weather and natural disaster repairs), the logs were unreturnable. Damaged Items

Items came incomplete (missing parts) and was obviously used previously (teflon tape in threads). I tried to obtain a full refund but was only credited 84% of initial cost.

Not Safe

I purchased these these in Dec 2022, they seemed to work fine until one day they would not turn off. Thermostat was set to 69, then all of a sudden it was 85 degrees in the room. Remote would not turn them off, had to cut the gas off to get them to go out. Now they will not work at all after changing batteries in transmitter and remote. I thought at the price point these were a better quality option.

Lasted 6 months

For the first 6 months it worked great. After that, it quit. Pilot lights works but when you try to turn it on with the remote it just clicks. Tried changing out the batteries and now it does nothing. Tried resetting according to directions, still nothing.

Heater works as expected. Remote does not. In operation for three weeks. Sequence of events: 1. Unpack familiarize myself with installation and operation. Check fit and hookups. 2. Receiver starts beeping while in the box with transmitter. Pulling the batteries is the only way to silence. 3. Run gas line (3 or 4 weeks). Propane supplier hooks up supply line and heater. 4. works well for 5 minutes

This heater works great for the first couple of minutes, then the flame goes way down. Granted, the flame in the beginning is bigger than it says it should be but the flame gets so small that it actually went out on me without it being touched. then about 5 minutes later, it reignited. I could get over the flame if it was a consistent height and heat output, but it's not. Disappointing.

Don't leave the store without an elbow fitting

This is a great little fireplace furnace. Our old one of another brand died. Read all the instructions. The one instruction I missed was to switch it over from LP gas (factory setting) to Natural Gas. It is easy to do but you will waste a lot time if you don't. It is better to leave the store with to many fitting then not enough.

Failure of product

Installer from Gibson County Utility District determined that he could not get gas to flow through the product to ignite.

Ok for the price

Great price, but not a big fan of the thermostat feature. Not built for continuous low flame usage, the thermostat will turn it off whether you want it to or not. The control knob is also hard to read and understand. A simple on/off switch and a high- med-low dial would have been too logical I guess.
