What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally well-received, with customers praising its sturdiness, adjustability, and effectiveness in supporting and leveling floors. Many found the construction to be heavy-duty and the installation to be easy. However, some customers reported issues with quality control, such as missing parts or manufacturing defects. Overall, the product is considered a reliable and functional solution for floor support and leveling, though the manufacturer could improve the consistency of quality.

Would RecommendMake sure all the parts are in the box before you walk out of the store. 3/5 in stock at lowes were missing parts, only 2 were complete and no more complete sets could be made from the remaining boxes. AKRON Really needs to re-think the packaging on these. Epoxy or tack the threaded ring in place as others said. This does need a 1" wrench.
TAMPCO BIG MOE FLOOR JACKS
Would RecommendBought four of these to raise the house just enough to replace part of the sill plate and riser joist. The ONLY thing I did was replace the 1/2" bolts that came with the jacks with 5/8th" bolts. While others complained about having to use 3/4" pins with the other jacks ( I prefer the pins), I have never had an issue with them.

Did pinch my fingers but this jack post is a brute
Would RecommendPinch fingers when sliding the inner post into the bottom section, but that's' my clumsiness. This jack post is very strong and beefy, used it with a 20ton bottle jack and had no worries.

Average floor jack
Would RecommendI used the jack to hold up my patio roof while I replaced one of the posts that was sinking into the concrete. The jack came with both of the nuts for the set bolts missing. I was able to purchase a couple from the local Lowe's store for under a buck so it was not a big deal. I had a hard time keeping the jack itself from turning when I tried to lift the roof so I had to use a pipe wrench to hold the jack while I screwed up the lifting piece. Overall it did the job and I was able to replace the ...

Get these heavy duty jacks.
Would Recommend... instead of the lighter weight ones. I've used both. These are worth the extra $. Worked well. Only problem was one end of outer sleeve was ovaled so Inner sleeve wouldn't slide. So I hit it with a hammer a few times to round out the end. Then WD-40''ed the inside. Problem solved. Quick to install.
Good value
Would RecommendThe jacks seemed to be a good quality and easy to use.

Great tool
Would RecommendI've used similiar product in the pass. This one is so much better. Like the bolt and nuts better than the pins on older products. No problems with using this jack, like some others had with the bolt in the top for raising your floors. Believe I will have years of use. Great product.
salvageable
Would RecommendDO NOT USE THESE UNTIL YOU [TACK] WELD THE FLAT NUT INTO THE LARGE TUBE BASE !!! UNTIL THIS IS DONE, THEY ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND UNSTABLE. WITH THIS FIX THEY WORK FAIRLY WELL. Fasten the brace plates securely to the opposing surfaces. You will really need a 3/4" open end wrench to adust.
Big Moe is heavy duty
Would RecommendThe "Big Moe" is rated for 20,000 lbs load. Easy to assemble. Heavy duty contruction. I bought 6 of these to replace existing lolly columns. The "Big Moe" has a heavy top and bottom 1/4" steel plate. This looks so much stronger than the old ones.
