Great Heavy Duty Jack
Would Recommendused these to jack up my house to replace rotted sill plates. One at each joist for 10 ft span using 3 ea 2x10 carry beam,. I liked that they are heavy duty and support 10 tons fully extended. My concern with hydraulic jacks is that there may he a hydraulic fail. These are fail-safe when the plates are screwed top and bottom.

Would RecommendBig Moe adjustable Jack posts are the best. But when you get right down to it, a Big Moe is only as strong as the bolts that connect the two sections. So I have been wondering what is the sheer strength of the connecting bolts. They don't look that formidable. I'm just kind of assuming they will hold up to the claims of the manufacturer. Bought Two More
Would RecommendAfter recently purchasing two of these jacks and raising a section of sagging floor, I decided to purchase two more. One pole was okay but the other pole was badly dented at the top where the adjustment screw is supposed to sit. This made the item unusable. The boxes were both sealed and in perfect condition, so Akron must be lacking in quality control. Lowe's was great about doing an exchange for one that was not damaged.
