Do not turn breaker on until filled
Would RecommendIt should be marked with a warning in another color and bold letters not to turn the electric switch on before it fills with water. Other than that the installation was fairly easy.

Would RecommendMy previous model lasted only 3.5 years due to a leak at the cold water inlet nipple piping. Worked great until that point. The new unit (same model #), only required re-plumbing of the pressure relief valve PVC piping. Been installed for a week. Works excellent so far.

Remove the packing and take pictures
After I got the water heater home and unboxed, we noticed a big dent in the metal on the corner . We needed to install the heater right away and did so in spite of the large dent, which was not visible prior to removing the shipping cardboard. There was absolutely to damage to the cardboard, so it appears it was damaged prior to packing and shipment. The item has now been in service for about 10 days, it appears to be working without any issues.
