Warranty isn’t as it states
This water heater has been great for us, but now it has stopped heating water before the warranty is up. I contacted customer service about the warranty and was informed that the only thing that is covered through the warranty is a part if needed and a manufacturer issue. I was told that I would have to pay for all the labor if I chose to have someone they approved come to tell me exactly what’s wrong with my water heater, but when they said local to me plumber, they chose a plumber from an hour...

Water Heater dented inside undamaged box
Would Not RecommendThe water heater was dented inside the box, it was dropped on its side. Manufacturer instructions are Do Not Return to store. I waited 3-4 days for AO Smith to contact me to call an 800 number. They will not issue RA#, they blame Lowe's. Lowe's says I'm passed the 48 hour return deadline even though they have a 30 day return policy on water heaters. I installed the damaged water heater, wish me luck.
