Would Not RecommendThis product, installed 1/5/2026, replaced a 2-1/2 year old AO Smith W/H, serial number 231113335574, model number EE12-50H55DVF-A 100, installed by a Lowes contractor on 5/1/2023. [Return Authorization Number R14713754; case number 19405991]. The EE-12 had a 12 year tank warranty, 12 year parts warranty, and 3 year labor warranty. The Lowes contracted plumbing company charged me close to $1,000 for installation of the unit. What I disliked about the original unit is: (1) it developed a leak...

Fast water heat
Would RecommendMy brother and I did the removal and install. Luckily we have some experience as novices. The install was straight forward with new copper flex pipes and a fitting for the pressure relief value. We filled the tank and turned on the power. In just a blink of the eye we had hot water.
