What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this water heater for reliable performance, rapid heating, and exceptional durability. Most report hot water delivery within 30 minutes and the ability to sustain multiple simultaneous uses without depletion. Many highlight straightforward installation with factory-installed conveniences like heat trap nipples. Strong brand loyalty stems from previous units lasting 20 to 40 years, with customers describing the build as well-constructed and long-lasting. A few report isolated issues including defective heating elements or pressure relief valve complications, but these concerns are vastly outweighed by positive feedback. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend this as a dependable, durable choice.

Would Not RecommendI purchased this unit back on 4/4/2024 and I have already had to replace two lower elements. I replaced both thermostats and elements and the breaker to make sure my bases were covered and it did it again. So I pulled it out and bought a Rheem unit.

Brand new, but didnt work
Would Not RecommendBrought the hotnwater heater home, and it did not work. Turned out to be a bad thermostat, right out of the box. Had to call the manufacturer and arrange for a new part .

Hope your is made better
Would Not RecommendGot it home and installed. A week later it streaming water across the garage. Leaking tank. Took it back and had to wait on hold on the phone for an hour to get a return OK. Finely exchanged it and reinstalled it. Working so far. A real pain to deal with, if I had paid for the installation instead of going it myself it would have been costly as well.

EASY Installation
Would RecommendI purchased this AO Smith 50 Gal electrc water heater in Feb 2025. It took about 30 minutes to install and 40 minutes to fully heat. The water temp is exactly what we were hoping for! This water heater was super simple to install and the directions made it just about foolproof. Great product and easy for DIY installation.

Good Clean lines and nice manufacturing detail.
Would RecommendI purchased this unit and it is not yet installed. My neighbors have been changing their waters and so for protection, I bought this one (E6-50H45D). I will keep it in stock until I need to change it.
